Instructional Strategy Group Discussion
o Group discussion is a learner centered strategy, in which
learners are divided into groups and then encouraged to
discuss the subject matter given.
Competency Deliver detailed and timely feedback on all tests and assignments to
students diagnosed with ADHD
o Present negative feedback verbally
o Identify concrete examples of inadequate performance
o Validate students hard work
o Look for the good while still focusing on future solutions
o Encourage student to discover solution to their problem
o Distinguish between low effort and lack of skills/knowledge

Materials

- 1 Speaker system
- 1 HDMI mini to HDMI dongle (if needed)
- 4 Feedback video files
- 32 Level 1 evaluation sheets
Room
The workshop will take place in the school auditorium, <ROOM>. The room has a large capacity
of 400. However, only the first 3 rows of the auditorium will be available for seating. The room
is equipped with a projector and speakers that can be accessed through the media closet at the
back of the auditorium.
Set up the room with the following configuration

1. Plug in your laptop using the HDMI connections available in the media closet (If you are
using a mac or laptop with a HDMI mini port you may need to get a dongle from the
information technology office <ROOM>).
2. Project the video files from your laptop ((Have a back-up copy of the video files on a
USB drive and in your email).
3. If you experience any technical issues, use the telephone in the media closet to contact
the information technology office at <NUMBER>
