at 132/33KV SS Khillaghanpur has submitted to this office by ADE/M/Wanaparthy

vide reference cited and the same is here with submitted for sanction please.

REPORT ACCOMPANY THE ESTIMATE

Name of the work: Estimate for Repair & Rectification of failed 2.0kVA Inverter-I
at
132/33KV SS Khillaghanpur.

General: The 132/33KV Substation Khillaghanpur was commissioned on

08.12.2014 with automation features. The automation features was provided with 2 Nos
2.0kVA (Make: Novateur Electrical & Digital Systems) inverters for running of 3 Nos
SCADA desktop systems viz. SCADA main, standby & Disturbance recorder along with
SAS panel auxiliary supply. The above SCADA systems are very important for operation
and maintenance of substation and recording events, faults and alarms continuously
24X7 hrs.

The power supply to main SCADA system and DR system was failed on
04.10.2018 suddenly. It was observed that the Inverter-I output AC voltage found zero,
after opening of inverter side cover it was found that the 1 No. card burnt-out and as the
inverter was served above 3 and 1/2 years i.e. beyond guarantee period. The problem
was informed to higher officials and MRT wing. The MRT wing suggested to change over
the supply of above systems to Inverter-II temporarily and the same was kept on
inverter-II i.e. on 04.102018. As per the oral instructions of higher authorities, the above
subject was referred to service engineer for repair and rectification on emergency basis.

As per oral request made by this office, the service engineer visited the site on
06.10.2018 and inspected the inverter. After inspection, the service engineer found NDC
DC 1/97 PCB card failed and to be replaced for which the quotation was given including
service charges. Hence the estimate is prepared based on the quotation.
