Eaton Bag Filter Housings and Filter Bags are used by industries around the world and
are manufactured to global standards. Customers can choose from a complete line of
Eaton single and multi-bag filter housings designed to meet the needs of the most
demanding applications. The choice of single bag filter housings range from those suit-
able for exacting absolute filtration applications to high quality housings designed for
cost sensitive applications...and everything in between. Multi-bag housings that accom-
modate up to 36 individual filter bags for flow rates of up to 4500 gpm are available in
a number of different designs. There is a full range of Eaton Filter Bags...over 1500
choices in all. From economical sewn filter bags for standard applications to welded,
multi-layered bags for demanding applications. There are even special Eaton Filter
Bags and Elements that can replace expensive filter cartridges in many applications.

Our single-bag housings can be adapted to just about any application. For applications
requiring continuous filtration two single-bag housings can be combined into a
DUOLINETM duplex filter. High flow rate applications are handled by manifolding two or
more housings to create a MODULINETM filter. And every filter housing we manufacture

FILTER HOUSINGS
TOPLINE™ - The finest single-bag filter housing avail-
able. Investment cast construction, over-the-top entry
and quick and easy bag changing make these filters
ideal for batch filtration. ASME code stamp and exclu-
sive 5-year warranty are included.

POLYLINE™ - Rugged, all plastic PVC, CPVC, PPL or

PVDF housings. No metal components to rust, corrode S
or contaminate the process media. Easy filter bag I
change-out with spin-off cover. For applications that D
require continuous flow a duplex model is available.

SIDELINE™ - Provides a heavy duty investment cast
housing in the medium cost range. These ASME coded I
vessels have the versatility to meet most industrial and N
commercial needs. They offer a choice of 2 or 3-inch E
flanged connections and carry a 5-year warranty. Mid-priced filter housings
for most applications.
FLOWLINE™ - Cost-effective general-purpose fabri-
cated filter housings. Tough enough for most heavy-
duty industrial and OEM applications not requiring a
code stamp. Unique design uses a minimum number of
welds for a smooth, easy to clean interior surface.

ECOLINE™ - Lightweight housings combining quality

and value. Often the best choice for cost-sensitive appli-

where the flow rates are too high for a

single-bag housing to handle. There are 3 different

models of Eaton Multi-Bag Housings, in 7 different

pipe size connections with filter bag capacities from

3 to 36. There is a MAXILINE housing to meet the

requirements of any high flow rate, bag filtration

applications.

MAXILINE MULTI-BAG
™

MAXILINE VMBF SE - This Housing with its

QIC-LOCK® quick opening and closing cover defines the
state-of-the-art for multi-bag housings. The unique quick
opening spindle closure mechanism provides for a 30
second opening or closing of the cover without the use of
tools. The integral vent valve mechanism protects the
operator by preventing the opening of the vessel without
first venting the pressure. Finally, the spring assisted hinge
makes lifting the cover safe and easy. Visit our web site at

The VMBF SE features a low profile design so that the top

MAXILINE MBF HD - This Multi-Bag Filter Housing features a
cost effective, handwheel operated davit cover. To open the cover
just loosen the swing bolts, turn the davit handwheel and swing the
cover aside. As an option a hydraulic assist is available for the davit

cover. Individual bag hold-downs provide excellent sealing. All

MAXILINE MBF HD Housings feature perforated, electro-polished
X baskets, ASME U Code Stamp and a bead blasted finish. Choose

 ritical, demanding liquid filtration applications require
C high performance filtration media. This media may
have to be more efficient, stronger, longer lasting or con-
form to specific standards. Eaton premium filter bags meet
these stringent media requirements. The convenience and
economy of liquid bag filtration is now feasible for filtration
applications that previously required other, more expensive
systems. These premium filter bags are capable of per-
forming in applications that in the past required more com-
plex and expensive filtration systems.

HAYFLOW™
This new, patent pending filter element, has combined
the best of both bag and cartridge filters into one single
filtration element for outstanding filtration performance.
Because the surface area of a HAYFLOW Filter Element
is up to 70% greater than a similar size filter bag, exist-
ing systems that use it will experience longer filter
media life and less change-outs, resulting in reduced
operating costs.

With HAYFLOW elements, designers of new bag filtra-

tion systems can opt to reduce operating costs; or
because of the high flow rates possible with the
HAYFLOW Element, reduce the size of the filter housing
by up to 50% and lower the initial cost of the system.
Standard, double length, 02 size filter housings can be
easily retrofitted to use the HAYFLOW Element with the
installation of a special bag restrainer basket. No tools or
modifications to the vessel are required. HAYFLOW all
welded filter elements are available in extended life
polypropylene or polyester felt with micron ratings from
1 to 100 and are equipped with a patented sealing ring.

CLEARGAF™
CLEARGAF Filter Bags are fully compliant and approved for
food and beverage service. Designed specifically for the
requirements of the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical
industries. Fully compliant with FDA spec 21CFR177 and EC
spec 90/128EEC. CLEARGAF Filter Bags are packed individ-
ually to protect them from contamination and are stored in
special warehousing facilities.

 ACCUGAF™
The ACCUGAF Filter Bag pushes the boundaries of bag filtration
technology far beyond traditional designs. Five different types are
available for application versatility. With efficiencies greater than
99% each ACCUGAF design provides cost effective filtration solu-
tions for demanding applications. Available in both single length,
01 and double length, 02 sizes in meltblown polypropylene con-
struction with the SENTINEL® patented polypropylene sealing ring.

PREMIUM FILTER BAGS

DURAGAF™
DURAGAF extended life filter bags have been specifi-
cally designed to reduce costs. There is no better nee-
dled felt filter bag available. The unique structure of the
extended life felt delivers excellent filtration perform-
ance with lifetimes 2 to 5 times longer than ordinary felt
media. The result is reduced operating costs due to
lower bag consumption, downtime, change-out labor,
storage and disposal costs.

LOFCLEAR™
LOFCLEAR Filter Bags now make absolute filtration
viable in many applications where only standard bags
could be used before due to cost constraints. Made
from 100% pure polypropylene materials compliant
with food requirements, LOFCLEAR Filter Bags contain
no leachables, or lubricants such as silicone oils. In
addition, their excellent oil absorbency makes
LOFCLEAR filter bags ideally suited to the oil removal
needs of the paint and coating industries. Available in
both 01 and 02 sizes with the SENTINEL sealing ring. PROGAF™
PROGAF Filter Bags bring a new, high performance
alternative to applications requiring absolute filtration.
Progressive density depth filtration delivers high effi-
ciency, exceeding 99.98%, along with a high dirt
holding capacity. In comparison to most filter cartridges
PROGAF Filter Bags deliver lower operating costs while
retaining the ease of change-out of bag filters.
Available in meltblown polypropylene construction with
the patented polypropylene SENTINEL® sealing ring.

dards for consistent quality. Heavy duty filter
bags are available in sewn construction with
the economical SNAP-RING® seal. Welded
construction bags feature the patented
SENTINEL ® sealing collar for the most
demanding applications.

HEAVY DUTY FILTER SENTINEL®

Welded Construction Filter Bags
Now, applications requiring polypropylene or polyester
felt filter bags can take advantage of the all welded con-
struction afforded by patented SENTINEL Filter Bags.
These bags are made from silicone-free materials and
are produced with a proprietary construction process.
This process results in fully welded, strong reliable joints
with no chance for by-pass or loose threads. Seams
are strong as well as flexible, allowing the bag to
conform to the bag restrainer basket. The patented
SENTINEL sealing ring guards against any possibility of
by-pass. The seam edges of each filter bag are heat
sealed, eliminating possible loose fibers. This results in a
filter bag with durable performance for the most
demanding applications. Available in 01 and 02 sizes
with micron ratings of 1 to 200.

SNAP-RING®
Sewn Construction Filter Bags
For over 30 years, Eaton SNAP-RING filter bags have
been critical components of filtration systems world-
wide. The wide range of media materials, affordable
price and reliability of construction have made them
the ideal choice for applications in nearly all process
industries. SNAP-RING filter bags are available in thou-
sands of different combinations of size, media material,

SNAP-RING Filter Bags are designed and constructed
