1) Translate the sentences below into communicative English! (V = Visitor, N =

Nurse).
1. V: Excusme, Where the pediatric ward?
N : Please, go straight until found the intensive care unit, and then turn left.
The pediatric room on the left.
2. V : Nurse, I looking for Amaryllis room, Where?
N : Ma’am go along this corridor, after meet the stairs go up the second floor.

3. V : I need to pay the medical ward bill. Can you tell me where the cashier?
N : Go straight ahead through here. The cashier is right next to the pharmacy
4. V: Sorry, i need to go the polyclinic. Can you show the way
N: Ok. Go straight ahead the emergency room. Then, turn left until you see the
laboratory
5. V: Nurse, i need to radiology unit, could you tell me how get to radiology unit?
N: in the next building. You have to get out first trough that door then turn
right. On your right building you will see the radiology unit.

1. The security to maternity unit = The security go straight turn left. Straight
ahead and then the martenity unit in front of the waiting room.

2. The nurse station in ICU to the canteen = The nurse station in ICU turn right
walk down to the first floor. staight ahead and canteen on the left.

3. The security to the toilet (between dispensary and radiology) = The security go
straight turn right. The toilet on the right between dispensary and radiology
unit.

4. The poly clinic to the pediatric ward (on the 2nd floor) = The poly clinic go
straight ahead up stairs to second floor. Trun right the pediatric ward on your
left.
5. The emergency room to the lift = The emergency room turn right and the
elevator in front of the laboratory.

6. The waiting room to the children playground (on the 2nd floor) = The waiting
room in front of the children playground.

7. The operation room to ICU (opposite the physiotherapy unit) = The operation
room turn right go up stairs to second floor trough the physiotherapy unit and
the ICU on the left security.

8. The entrance to the class 1 = The entrance go straight ahead turn left. The class
1 in front of the canteen.

9. The nurse station (near the lift on the 2nd floor) to the laboratory = The nurse
station walk down trough the lift. On the left the laboratory room.

10. The emergency room to admissions = The emergency room turn right. the
admission in front the operation room.
