HOW TO MAKE IT THROUGH THE RAIN

Typhoons and other weather disturbances claim to be one of the reasons why endeavor
adds in to some issues that the society should focus on. As a commuter, I learned five things on
how to survive the rain.
First, you have to bring an umbrella everyday. Even without the rain, an umbrella should
be brought daily. Also, the umbrella helps us protect our skin from the sun. In rainy days, it is
lucky for an umbrella holder to face the water from above. We are able to easily make it through
the rain.
Second, always be aware and focus. It is sensible to be conscious as we go through the
rain. The rain, figuratively, can mean a lot of description. The rain can mean a problem. Example
of which is when Rizal used "Babala ng Sigwa" or "Unang Banta ng Unos" as a title to one of his
chapters to symbolize that a problem is going to happen. When we are aware and focus, we are
able to engage ourselves in the environment we are walking to even with the rain. Sometimes,
our mindset to think thoroughly is complex to occur in the rain. Awareness and consciousness is
always a key to surviving the rain.
Third, just keep walking. There are times that I would think about going to the bakery
shop or in a mall. It should be avoided when the rain pours. It is hard to cope with the rain once
your in a place trying to go home. Never face another side instead on the side of your true
purpose. All you have to do is to walk. Walk can mean a normal pace of strategy to calmly make
it through the rain figuratively.
Fourth, never mind your surroundings. Minding means to address ourselves more to
another idea than the usually idea that infers our strategy in doing its main purpose. Always bear
in mind the true reason why you want to make it through the rain. Don't go beyond the box or
below the belt. Your chances of surviving the rain will indefinitely scold you as you go home.
Nonetheless, feel the regret of taking action.
Fifth, be alert at all times. You wouldn't know that you've been stolen by one of the
people who improperly disposes themselves into the rain. There are times that you'll be catching
your breath. One way of being alert is to rest. Stay in the rain with the other four things stipulated
above. You wouldn't do all of those if you don't ever feel the rain.
This five things, figuratively and literally, can mean a lot of things. It depends on you on
how you would interpret these. But I say, these are the five things I learned while I was in the
rain. The big idea to this is to help yourself. Protect yourself from others and the rain.
