Subject: Request for change in instructor

Dear Sir,

We are 4th year ECE students that are currently taking up the course ECE421 (Project Study 1)
and ECE421L (Project Study Laboratory) this semester under Engr. Marife Gomez.

ECE421 and ECE421L is a capstone course which utilizes the fundamentals of electronics
engineering in the design of electronic system and it is under the professional course of the BSECE
program. Based on Section 17 of the CMO 101 series of 2017 attached to this letter, states that all
professional subject must be handled by a BSECE holder preferably with Master of Science or Doctoral
degree in Electronics Engineering or allied fields. The said instructor is not aligned with our course to
handle the subject since she is a BS Computer Engineering holder and a faculty member of the
Computer Engineering Department.

In this regard, we would like the said subject to have an aligned instructor fitting for our course
to handle this specific subjects.
