Description
STEEL WORK

Mild steel or iron work in heavy sizes such as trusses; builts up gates, door frames,record racks, roof work, gates etc.
wrought to required form including drilling holes,rivetting or welding where necessary and also including supply of steel,
bolts, nuts etc. & their fixing required for proper completion of the work.

ROOFING WORK

Providing and fixing of roofing system comprising of Lloydarch/Equivalent crimp curved sheets of 0.5mm TCT
Zincalume Steel of coating mass 150gsm (total of both sides as per IS : 1397) of tensile strength 350 MPA, having a crest
height of 28mm & permanently colour coated with 20 microns colour coating of SMP / Super Polyester paint coat as per
AS/NZS- 2728:1997(category 3)over a 5 micron primer on exposed side and a back coat of 5 micron on inner side over a
5 micron primer. Sub-girts of size 50mm x 50mm x 50mm manufactured out of 16G GI (1.6mm thick) ‘Z’ shape would be
fixed on to the inner sheeting on face side at purlin locations and outer Lloydarch sheeting shall be fixed with the help of
wafer head zinc coated self drilling fasteners on to the sub-girts. The sheet shall confirm to IS:513, 277 & IS 14246.The
rate shall include for facia, lashings & capping (0.50mm thick plain SMP colour coated galvalume sheet in the required
shape) sealants, and work shall be carried out as per specifications, approved shop drawings & direction of Engineer-In-
charge. The profile steel sheets shall conform to IS: 513, 277 & IS: 14246.

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised steel sheet roofing accessories 0.50 mm (+ 0.05 %) total coated thickness, Zinc
coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet
and polyester top coat 15-18 microns using self drilling/ self tapping screws complete :
Gutter .(600 mm over all girth).
Provding and fixing at all height false Ceiling system comprising of coil coated galvanized steel (Z 120 gsm) zinc coating
240 Mpa yield stress 150mm x 17 MM deep panels with 23.9mm flange roll formed out of 0.50mm thick on the both
sides in manufacturer’s standard colour shades. The panels shall have coil coating finish on the face. The top of panel
coat shall have 20 micron polyester coated finish and back coat 5 micron alkyd primer. The panel shall be fixed on to roll
formed carriers 34.5mm wide x 48 mm deep out of 0.60 mm galvanized steel with black paint with cutouts to hold the
panels in a module of 150mm at max. 1.6 mtr. c/c. The ceiling panels shall be clipped into carriers which are suspended
from roof structur with the help of dash fastener with ceiling clit/GI suspension angle & L clit means of rigid suspension.
The suspension system shall be fixed in GP carrier. The joint to two carriers shall be joined by means of carrier splices
maintaining a module of 150mm. The edge profile alu./GI shall be matching with the panels. The panel shall be factory
cut in max. length of 5m. The panel shall be jointed after 6m with special GP splice in between two panels. The work
shall be carried out as per manufacturer specification.

works
Finishing with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer’s specifications
including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete.
