It is my pleasure to recommend Robert Rigo for the Special Education position. I have had the
opportunity to work with Robert over the past six years at PREP Academy. During our work
together, I have experienced his true dedication to our students and profession.

I have enjoyed working with Robert both inside and outside the classroom. Robert co-taught
middle school mathematics and high school geometry with me for three years. He was a
valuable asset in the classroom helping provide differentiated supports to both special and
general education students and continues to be with the work we continue to do together.
Although I do not have the pleasure of co-teaching with Robert this year, I have worked with
him outside the classroom to support students in my high school mathematics courses.

His knowledge of student needs has provided supports for student growth in mathematics,
English, and work-study programs here at PREP. Robert strives to be the best that he can both in
and out of the classroom. He is willing to learn new content and methods on his own time to
better support students.

Robert goes above and beyond expectations for the students he serves. He is in constant contact
with families, teachers, and managers to support students both academically, socially, and
emotionally. He helps to develop plans of actions with students, families, and teachers to meet
each student where they are.

Along with his dedication to students and families. He is a true team player, and is willing to go
to any length with co-workers to support students. He is in regular communication with
classroom teachers and has an open door policy. Robert is willing to challenge ideas tactfully to
resolve situations, always thinking about students first.
Without a doubt, I confidently recommend Robert to join your team. As a dedicated and
knowledgeable teacher, I know that he will be an asset to your students and staff.
