MY FAVORITE BOOK

There are many books that are published each year with different genres, such as
comic, romantic novel, detective novel or horror story … Nowaday, the internet is
developing rapidly. Although people can read books in many ways through the
internet, but for me, traditional books are always more special. Becauce of that, I
have a hobby of collecting books, and my collection has had nearly 200 books up
to now. I have preserved my books since I was a child. The book I have most
versions is Harry Potter, and it is the series of novel I love the most. Harry Potter is
a series of fantasy novels written by British author J.K Rowling.

Firstly, this series consists of 7 parts that talk about periods of Harry Potter’s life.
Harry was the special boy who has survived after the attack of Voldemort. The
Voldemort was known as the most powerfull man in the wizarding world, and he
was so sinister that no one dared to call his name. Most people called him by the
name “You know who” because everyone was afraid of him. Harry’s Journey was
the process of finding out the mysteries at Hogwarts School with his friends. They
were Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley who be always beside Harry in
extremely dangerous situations. When the novel came to the end, all secrets
were revealed, and we would know that why was Harry special, what connection
between Harry and Voldemort or why was Harry the only one who can defeat
“You know who”. All your question from the first chapter would be answered
logically by J.K Rowling, so after all, you will definitely be satisfied with this series.

Secondly, this series don’t only attracts me to the content, but also gives me a
wonderful experience with the author’s great imagination. The world in Harry
Potter is very different from the real world, because it is fantasy and mystic.
Everything you see in the novel that almost you can only meet in your dream,
such as magic broom, unicorn, walking across the wall or magic wand … Harry
Potter has everything that every child wants to try once in a lifetime. Beside the
fantasy elements, Harry Potter also has homely and close things, and there are
real view of London, racism between people of different backgrounds. For me, its
greatest success of J.K Rowling is that she has put the actual elements in place
next to the fantasy elements. We can see ourselves in her characters, such as the
courage of Harry, the intelligence of Hermione or the cowardice of Ron. Each
character in the novel is an experience for us to improve ourselves. That is what I
love most about it.

Harry Potter is the one of famous novels worldwide. Milions of children have met
characters who created by J.K Rowling, and be fascinated by them. So the series is
one of the best-selling series of the 21 st century. Eight movies based on this
novel have been made, and it has had great success both in revenue and quality.
If you don’t have enough time to read book, you will watch the Harry Potter
movie to find out fantasy things. But in my opinion, before watching movies to
feel the beautiful effects and visuals, you should take the time to read books to
better understand every detail of this famous series.

Finally, Harry Potter is the novel that each of us should read once in a lifetime. I
really love it !
