4. Summary of the video

From this video we can learn how to introduce ourselves as health care workers with
patients, ranging from how we introduce ourselves to how we communicate with patients
when they want to take medical action. When you want to introduce yourself to a patient you
must know in advance, who the patient is, the patient's age, and the main problems felt by the
patient. In addition, when before meeting with patients we must prepare ourselves well. When
you want to introduce yourself to a patient, you have to use the right words, in a soft tone and
clear voice, for example "excuse me, I'm Andrew, one of the nurses at this hospital who will
take care of you as long as you are treated here". When we use good words the patient feels
comfortable and trusts us.
