My name is Ioan and I am currently a 2nd-year Computer Science student at

Cardiff University. I’m writing this letter expressing my interest in the “Software
Engineer” summer placement internship which has been advertised on my
university’s job board.

I am interested to learn more about Software Engineering while being able to

make a positive impact on the tasks and people which I will be working with.

I want to work at the Office of National Statistics because I want to work as part
of an experienced team of Developers, Testers and Project Managers which I
can engage with and learn from.
