SECOND CONDITIONAL

Se utiliza para expresar condiciones que son improbables (poco probables) o

imposibles en el presente o futuro.

Ejemplo: si llegase pronto, iríamos al cine. // En el caso poco probable de que llegase
pronto, iríamos al cine.

Otros ejemplos:

(1) If I were you, I would change jobs. *En la segunda condicional utilizamos “I
were” en lugar de “I was”.
(2) If they knew that, they would be very upset.
(3) I would go home if I didn’t have so much to do.

*First conditional: If I don’t have work to do, I will travel more. La diferencia es
que en este caso es probable que tenga poco trabajo. En el caso del ejercicio 2 es
imposible que esa persona sea más joven porque ya es viejo.
