PROFILE EXPERIENCE:
1. Operation & maintenance of 420 volts and 11KV diesel engines alternators
and exciters of engines with capacity of 250KW to 7.8MW.
2. Testing and calibration of protection for machine Mechanically & Electrically.
3. Annual maintenance of alternators and auxiliaries equipment 420volts AC such
as engine water pump, lube oil pump etc. major overhauling.
4. Maintenance and faults rectification of 110volts and 24 volts D C control panels.
 5. Trouble shooting, attending diagnosis electrical faults off different diesel engines
such as Cummins, Caterpillars, Perkins, Mirrlees black stone, KHD, DEUTZ etc.
6. LV, HV control panels & circuit breakers, scheduled maintenance of 11kv, 33kv
such as O.CB, V.CB and S F 6 and their working protection systems.
7. Major /Top overhauling and troubleshooting of DG sets KHD BV 16 M540, 640
& MBSKV16MAJOR MARK III.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Conducting safety classes, Safety drills & training as per site HSE Procedure to
prevent accident before starting the Job as daily bases.
2. Locking after services and housekeeping inventory control and bulk handling of
gas oil , Lube oil Pot water ETC as per procedures for caterpillar engine rental
power generation project at raysut A&B and thumrait substation under Raeco
Dhofar region
3. Performing daily, weekly, monthly and annual scheduled maintenance on all
Mechanical & Electrical equipments.
4. Synchronization on main generation units and feeders loading, unloading of
generators transformers from 500KVA to 66MVA with MVAR control and AVR
excitation.
5. Clearing / attending daily, fault reports on engines control system and
distribution Net Work as per SOPS.
6. Repairing and maintenance of all stand by, spare equipments in electrical and
mechanical workshop.
7. Operation, maintenance and switching of all station auxiliaries.
8. Operation and maintenance of emergency batteries and DC system 24 volts,
110volts then bus bar shifting wither ring main or radial systems.
9. Resume of (PTW) permit to work on generators, transformer and feeder etc.
10. Generating reports on equipment failure/break down abnormal observation and
following up on the failure analysis report.
11. Maintain power production without any interruption
