My Analysis
Complete the structured frame.

Orientation sessions are conducted because we want to be reminded and

be very well informed about the rules and regulations that the institution holds
onto the most. Orientation sessions are also conducted to clarify any concepts of
misunderstanding about a certain rule or law that must be abided by the said
institution. Orientation sessions also provide protection not only to the employers
or workers of the institution but it also protects the administrators about the
limitations and rights of every person in the work area.

This kind of activities not only raise awareness for the both parties of the
teaching-learning process but it also gives every person a right to have a stand to
either ratify or improve the benefits and restrictions of the guidelines released by
the school administrators.
I need to follow the policies and procedures of the
cooperating school so that I can hold up and raise the bar for my educational
institution or school and I could bring pride and honor to my department. But aside
from that, if we were to generalize why we need to follow these policies, is its
because we want to respect and build rapport to the partner institution.

We also aim, not just me individually, to provide quality

education and service to the school community to practice my professionalism
as a school teacher and learn points from our assigned cooperating teacher and
faculty of the school. Also, by following the rules and regulations of the public
institution, you not only respect your own school and partner school, but bear in
mind that by following these rules, you also follow the DepEd’s protocol.

My Reflections / My Insights

A. How did I feel after the orientation? Complete the empty face and explain why you felt
that way? What are your joys / apprehensions?

I need to follow the policies and procedures of the

cooperating school so that I can aim and achieve
a working place that will foster the good name of
my educational institution and give the total
teaching experience for me.

By simply following these rules and regulations, I

will always be guided about the do’s and don’ts,
my limitations and restrictions, but also, my rights
and principles as a student teacher will be
protected that’s why I have here on the left side
of the page a fulfilled and contented emoticon.

Teaching is fulfilling!
B. Am I really prepared to teach? Why? Why not?

YES! I AM REALLY PREPARED TO TEACH! Not only because I completed all my

pre-requisite subjects but also because, I am sure that me and my educational
institution is continuously working hard to perfect and produce an outstanding
teacher for the 21st century learners. A teacher that not only embodies theories in
his hands and mind, but also a teacher who hold to his principles and being more
of a realist than being an idealist who take their words for granted without taking
any action for his students. There’s nothing wrong with being idealist, it’s just if you
are more of an idealist as a person, bear in mind that you must also do what’s right,
appropriate, necessary, and needed by the learners. Because a true teacher takes
a hand, touches the heart, and heals the soul of his/her students.
