Peer Editing Checklist

Yay! Your essays are finished! Now, it’s time to share them with classmates. We’re going to use
almost the same checklist as you will for your final essay. Check each box to determine whether
or not your peer’s essay has each of the items listed.

Is/Does the essay...

in black Times New Roman font size 12?

double spaced?

have 9 proper in-text-citations, using either the author’s last name or the article title in
parentheses? If it’s the article title, is it in quotation marks?

have 6 paragraphs?
