Catriona Elisa Gray (born January 6, 1994) is a Filipino TV Host, singer, model and beauty pageant
titleholder who won Miss World Philippines 2016. She represented the Philippines at the Miss World
2016 pageant.

Personal life

Gray was born in Cairns to an Australian father, Ian Gray, and a Filipino mother, Normita Ragas
Magnayon, from Oas, Albay. As an only child Gray spent most of her time participating in extra
curriculars such as Art, Drama, Math and Science Extension classes along with Karate, Dance and
Singing lessons which led her to having her love of arts from a young age. Catriona also has a
Certificate II in Outdoor Recreation and also starred in local Musical productions such as Miss Saigon
along with State Eisteddfods for voice.

Catriona was the lead singer of her school's jazz band along with sport captain. After finishing high
school studies in Australia, she made the decision to move to Manila, Philippines. Within a few
months of arriving in Manila, and still just 18, she became recognised as one of the top commercial
models in the Philippines.

Gray has been in a long-term relationship with German-Filipino model Clint Bondad.

She has a Masters Certificate in Music Theory from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. She also
sings, plays the guitar and has a black belt in Choi Kwang Do.

So why do some people swear that they got sick right after getting a flu shot? Flu shots tend to be

natural that some people will catch a respiratory bug shortly after getting a vaccine. And since it
takes about two weeks after getting a vaccine for the body to develop immunity, some of those bugs
could be the flu. But the vaccine itself isn't causing disease.
