sin 108 t A. Determine the magnetic field at
(a) r=λ/5, θ=300
(b) r= 200λ, θ=600
4. An electric field strength of 10μV/m is to be measured at an observation point θ=π/2 ,
500 km from a half wave (resonant) dipole antenna operating in air at 50 MHz.
(a) What is the length of the dipole?
(b) Calculate the current must be fed to the antenna.
(c) Find the average power radiated by the antenna.
(d) If a transmission line with Z0=75 Ω Is connected to t.he antenna, determine the
standing wave ratio.
5. Determine the electric field intensity at a distance of 10 km from an antenna having a
directive gain of 5 dB and radiating a total power of 20 KW.
6. A certain antenna with an efficiency of 95% has maximum radiation intensity of 0.5
W/Sr. Calculate the directive gain when
(a) The input power is 0.4 W
(b) The radiated Power is 0.3W
