Gals Forum @ Weddings! Got a funny story about your wedding? Tell it here!

From: Cutefroot

Here's my story. I guess all brides are really nervous on their wedding day. I was so nervous that I couldn't sleep for two
nights before. I also couldn't eat. I was kind of a wreck!!! I was at the bridesmaid's house and we were getting ready
when things started to go wrong. First I spilt coffee on my clothes, and then my friends were late. I started to cry! My
friend gave me a pill to help me to relax. It was some kind of tranquilizer. I felt a bit better, so she gave me another one.
Then it was time to go to the wedding, so I got in the car to go. I fell fast asleep. The bridesmaids shook me and shouted
at me, but nobody could wake me up! Finally, they drove me to the wedding anyway. When we arrived, they managed
to get me to stand up. I held onto my father's arm and managed to walk up the aisle. I only realized I was getting married
when I looked down and saw that I had a wedding dress on! The moral? Don't take tranquilizers on an empty stomach!

From: Noodles

My big wedding nightmare is because of a tradition we have in the Philippines. It is bad luck if you wear your wedding
dress before the wedding day. I guess it is quite sensible because there can be accidents, but my mother takes this really
seriously. She won't let me put on the wedding dress AT ALL. So on my wedding day, I put on the wedding dress and it is
a bit too big. This is a real problem because it is an off-the-shoulder dress, and if it is too big, it will fall off completely! So
I have to walk down the aisle holding my dress. I don't really blame my mom, but I won't do the same thing to my
daughter!

From: Superhunny

We had a small disaster at my wedding - and I never knew anything about it till later. Just before the wedding started,
the best man dropped the ring in the road and couldn't find it. He searched and searched and he still couldn't find it.
Finally he panicked and just went in without it. It was my husband's mum who saved the day. She slipped off her own
wedding ring and we used that. Getting married in your mother in law’s wedding ring. How weird is that!
