10.Whales are mammals even though they live in the ocean. They cannot breathe under
water. They have to go to the surface to breathe. They breathe through a hole on top of their
head. There are many types of whales. The blue whale is the largest animal in the
world. It can grow to about 37 meters long and weigh about 150 000 kilogrammes.
What do whales eat? Some eat krill (small fish) and plankton (small, plants and fish).
Others eat fish, squid and even seals.
