Humans have already depended their lives on technology. From their

everyday practices to their health, technology has control. Especially, for the
people today, they were raised by the influence of technology. It is something
that they have to make their everyday lives easier, specifically the connection
and communication of the people around the world. Information were passed
through any forms of media, such as phones, radios, computers, and
newspapers. Thus, humans need technology to accomplish all of their goals
easily and strategically.

A media and information literate individual is any person that uses

technology and digital media strategically and capably. This quality of a student
or a scientian, specifically, is really important because they are given bunch of
research papers and other paper works. With this, they can produce a paper with
standard. They should adapt to be a student with skills and media and
information literate at the same time, so that Philippine education will produce
professionals that are globally competitive and this can lead the country to
development. On the other hand, the millennials should also realize the value of
being media and information literate because they already comprise most of the
social media users population. Through social media, many people can easily
access news and other information from different parts of the world. For some, it
is difficult for them to identify fake news and information. Indeed, if millennial and
other people realize the value of being media and information literate, only
credible resources will be disseminated. Hence, the very essence of being media
and information literate is if people will have this quality, fake news that often
causes offensive feelings can be prevented, which can, undoubtedly, be lead the
world to a more ideal place to live for humans.

All in all, humans that use technology should learn first how to be a media
and information literate enough before they urge to study to use different forms of
social media. With this, the society would be more organized and united as many
people have been dreaming of.
