    Read the following extracts carefully and answer the questions that follow

    Question 1.
    Some say the world will end in fire
    Some say in ice.
    From what I’ve tasted of desire
    I hold with those who favour fire.

    (a) What is the poet’s opinion of the world in these lines?

    Question 2.
    But if it had to perish twice
    I think I know enough of hate
