relay ext dc voltage missing
Registered
Join Date: Apr 2014 hi,
Posts: 2 Seem to have this very classic problem, brought a Bridgeport interact 300
TNC 2500 its been working very lightly for a couple of weeks and then ( relay
ext dc voltage missing ) thats all i get when i turn it on and i cant get past
that.
e-stop is pulled out and when you press the main power button there is a
distinctive clunk.
oil level ok
new batteries in
checked main power supply ok
checked fuses that i can see
machine in the middle of table and checked limit switches not jammed so ok
i'm not the most competent electrician but pushed the e-stop in and got 24v
across it and all the limit switches, door interlocks when key out also when i
look in the cabinet 2CR is energized.
when the fault first happened the machine did come back to life briefly but
now nothing i do have the original schematic but as i said before not the most
competent.

does the relay hold? IOW if you release the enable button does the relay fall
out[and clunk again when you press again?

well could be 24v supply, or ISTR someone having the actual input on the
control go bad., sochase that end of the wiring, where the closing of the relay
is confrmed to the control[IOW all the switches have 24v, bu tit dos not get
back to the control
