LEARNING GUIDE No. 1

Aim : To discuss about countries and cities using travel terms and present perfect, modal verbs of
speculation (second conditional), travel items, and food vocabulary

1. Mexico I would visit the Basilica Of Santa Maria of
Guadalupe, the islands in Cancun and Acapulco. I also
would like try each typical dishes of the country.
2. United States I would visit Disneyland and the statue of liberty
with my family and boyfriend.
3. Japan I would visit the museum which was the only building
left standing after a nuclear bomb, ski in Sapporo, go
up Mount Fuji and go shopping in Akihabara. I would
also try its gastronomy.
4. Germany I would visit the castles, especially the one that was
the inspiration for Walt Disney, the monuments and
museums that are considered world heritage sites
and the Rhine River by boat. I would eat their typical
dishes and drink beer.
5. Spain I would visit the old Palace The Alhambra, Costa
Dorada and Del Sol, and the Canary Islands, I also
would eat all the dishes in each city of this country
6. France I would visit "the city of light", Paris, the world's
largest museum, Louvre museum and the Arc de
Triomphe where I would take many photos.
7. Greece I would visit Atenas to know the history and the
Acripolis de Atenas, because it is the most important
place
8. Italy I would like to learn how to make pasta and eat a lot
of it. I would visit the Torre de Pisa and go with my
boyfriend to Juliet’s house.
9. Canada I would visit the Niagara Falls, Montreal to play in the
snow and the Canal de Rideau, which lights up at the
anual Winterlude in Ottawa
10. Brazil I would visit the Parque Nacional Tijuca to see all Rio
de Janeiro and the Iguazú Falls. I also would learn to
dance samba.
11. Morocco I would visit the La Medina (which is very old
neighborhood), Chefchaouen and the Sahara desert.
