3. FORMULACIÓN DE LAS ACTIVIDADES DE APRENDIZAJE

3.1 Actividades de Reflexión inicial.

What I need to know:

Coronavirus are an extensive family of viruses that cause diseases ranging from common fried to more
serious diseases. COVID-19 is caused by a new coronavirus, meaning it is a new strain that has not
previously been identified in humans.

 COVID-19 is a respiratory disease primarily transmitted from person to person. Currently, there is
no vaccine available or curative treatment, so the best preventive strategy is to avoid exposure.
 Until now, children appear to be less affected by COVID-19, which was also observed during other
coronavirus outbreaks.
 Children with pre-existing conditions may have a different level of risk, so you should consult your
child's medical team.
 A variety of measures will be used to reduce the spread of the virus, such as isolation of the sick
and the promotion of healthy hygiene strategies. Additional recommendations to contain the
spread of the virus could include the cancellation of events attracting large numbers of people;
closure of schools, public transport or business and mandatory quarantine, which means isolation
and restriction of the movement of people who may have been exposed to the virus.

3.2 Actividades de contextualización e identificación de conocimientos necesarios para el aprendizaje.

 Perform family conversation in a comfortable place and encourage family members to ask
questions. You could have a separate conversation if young children are found to use language they
can understand and to address specific fears or misconceptions they may have.
 How is the risk of contagion decreased? Maintain social distancing between yourself and anyone
who is coughing or sneezing. When someone coughs or sneezes the spray small liquid droplets
from their nose or mouth wich may contain virus.
 What are the symptoms? Fever, cough, shortess of breath.
 You know how covid is transmitted? It is spread by close person-to-person contact, through saliva
droplets that are expelled by coughing and sneezing, or in any place or space that is shared with a
person sick with the virus.

GFPI-F-019 V03
 Prepare a list of community resources that will be useful during an outbreak. Make sure you know
the emergency phone numbers, websites and official social media accounts. The list could include:
local health centers, public health authorities, social services, and crisis hotlines.

Clinic Meta
Clinic Martha
Provensalud
Phones: (098) 6610556 / 6620140 / 6610555 Ext. 1 / 18000129202.

 Develop a plan to maintain communication with friends and family over the phone and the internet
in case isolation or quarantine is recommended. can be developed through platforms, such as video
calls, chat

3.3 Actividades de apropiación del conocimiento (Conceptualización y Teorización).

Consulte sobre y responda.

1. What is COVID-19? It is a virus that can cause disease in both animals and humans. In humans,
several coronaviruses are known to cause respiratory infections that can range from the common
cold to more serious illnesses, such as respiratory syndrome.
2. What are the symptoms of COVID-19? The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever,
tiredness, and dry cough. Some patients may experience pain, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore
throat, or diarrhea. These symptoms are usually mild and appear gradually.

3. How does COVID-19 spread? A person can get COVID-19 from contact with someone who is
infected with the virus. The disease can spread from person to person through interactive droplets
from the nose or mouth that are thrown off when an infected person is exhaling. These droplets
can be on objects and surfaces around the person, so other people can be contrary to COVID-19 if
they touch these objects or surfaces and then touch their eyes, nose, or mouth.

4. Who is most at risk? people with advanced age, lung problems, including asthma, heart disease,
diabetes and obesity.

GFPI-F-019 V03
5. What is the treatment for COVID-19? To date, there are no specific vaccines or medications against
COVID-19. Treatments are being investigated and will be tested in clinical trials.

6. How can COVID-19 transmission be stopped or prevented? Wash hands with soap, avoid contact
with others, wear face mask.

7. Identify prevention elements, and their use in covid19 – Use Images for it.

8. What should I do if I feel sick or think I was exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19? Call your
doctor if any member of your family has a fever, cough, sore throat, or other flu-like symptoms. If
the person has been close to someone infected with the coronavirus or has lived or traveled to an
area where many people were infected with the virus, explain it to the doctor.

Write a presentation with illustration and sentences about: You can use PowerPoint , Prezi or another

3.4 Actividades de transferencia del conocimiento

One of the best ways to lessen the impact of an infectious disease outbreak like COVID-19 for you and your
family is to be prepared.

A few steps, identify if you are prepared in the following:

 Determine how you'll keep up with constantly changing information about COVID19.
 Plan how you want to discuss COVID-19 with your family; be sure to include:

1. What is the current outbreak of the disease? The current outbreak of COVID-19
coronavirus disease was first reported in Wuhan, China on December thirty-first, two-
nineteen. Periodically updated information appears on this page.
2. How do you catch the COVID-19 Virus? It is highly contagious, it spreads very easily
between people. You can get infected from other people who have COVID-19. The virus is
transmitted through saliva (slime) and mucus, usually through small drops of liquid, almost
always invisible, that come out of your nose and mouth when launched, sneeze.
3. What are the possible dangers? Risk factors associated with Covid-19 disease have been
identified. These data have been published by The Lancet magazine. Thus, advanced age,
signs of sepsis and blood values associated with thrombosis are, for now, the main risk
factors for a person infected with the new coronavirus.
4. Protect measures being taken in the global community/nation/community quarantine and
isolate people from abroad
5. Preventive measures the whole family can take? Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth,
hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer
the virus to you eyes, nose or mouth, from there, the virus can your body and can make
you sick.
