Principle

If ‫ و‬or ‫ي‬ is ‫ﻙ‬‫ﺤﺮ‬

and the letter before it bears a ‫ﺔ‬‫ ﻓﹶﺘﺤ‬, the ‫و‬ or ‫ ي‬is turned/changed to ‫ﻒ‬‫ﺃﻟ‬

Principle If a letter from the ‫ موزون‬was turned/changed, weigh it according to how it originally was.

Do we say ‫ ﻗـﺎﻝ‬is on the scale of ‫? ﻓـَﺎ ﹶﻝ‬ to it’s original letter (‫)و‬

No. Rather we say …

‫ﻌـ ﹶﻞ‬ ‫ﻗـﺎ ﹶﻝ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻭﺯﻥ ﹶﻓـ‬

Principle If two (2) Saakin letters (silent) meet (come in a row) and the 1st saakin letter happened
to be one of the vowels ( ‫ ا‬/ ‫ و‬/ ‫)ي‬, it (the vowel letter) will be dropped.

Principle
