1. Explain the historical development of the educational system in

2. Evaluate the development of Islamic, Western and Eastern
philosophy and implications towards the development of the
National Philosophy of Education
3. Explain curriculum development and the implementation of the
Integrated Primary School Curriculum (KBSR)
4. Practise and internalize the principles and needs of National
Philosophy of Education (FPK)) and Philosophy of Teacher
Education (FPG) in the teaching service
5. Appreciate teacher’s struggles and noble efforts as well as
accepting the work culture of a teacher as part of service to
God

Synopsis This course consists of the development of Islamic, Western and


Eastern philosophy of education; historical development of the
Malaysian education system, the National Philosophy of
Education, the Integrated Primary School Curriculum (KBSR) and
contributions of teacher patrons in Malaysia.

Kursus ini merangkumi perkembangan falsafah pendidikan Islam,


Barat dan Timur serta sejarah perkembangan pendidikan di
Malaysia; Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan, Kurikulum Bersepadu
Sekolah Rendah (KBSR) dan sumbangan tokoh-tokoh pendidik di
Malaysia.
