My Reflections during COVID – 19

Initially I found the major changes to daily life to be tough.

Quickly I decided to get up early (6am) most days to go out for a one hour walk in the local area. It’s
quiet then and there is a calm atmosphere. With the brightening days, I often see beautiful sunrises.

When I return home, I have my breakfast and do a meditation after.

I work by phone for a few hours. This allows me to keep in contact with people.

The biggest challenge for me is the lack of variety to each day. I read, listen to music and drink plenty
of cups of tea and eat lots of chocolate.

In the evening, I take a short walk in the local area.

I relax in the evenings and retire to bed by 11pm.

Recently I have been taking photos of nature on my phone. It encourages me to be observant of

what is around me.

Thankfully the weather has been mainly dry and sunny, so this has helped a little to alleviate the
current lockdown.

I am looking forward to being able to resume my regular lifestyle. It will be great to be able to
interact with people, to go swimming, attend the library and head home to visit my parents.

I hope that you are well and it will be fantastic meeting up with you all soon.
