Oh and wadkcaj , you must drag the generated license file to the invisible
.TheBrain folder in ~Users/~/

I used FileBuddy to do it....

Finally, i made it work on a pc! Here are the steps, which are pretty much the same
with the steps you are provided with.
1. Download the latest edition from their website
2.Run pb.jar
3.Click the Patch button and look for thebrain folder in the program files then,
you will see the brain.jar file.
4.. Enter whatever name you like and click Generate
5.Save the info7.bin license file it will create to the Desktop
6.Make sure the hidden files are visible by going to control panel/folder
options/view.
7.Block all internet access on the program by making a rule in your firewall that
will deny access to thebrain.exe
8.Now, open program and shortly you will notice that still you are using the trial
version.(important step)
9.close program and cut and paste the license file info7.bin into c:/ program
data/thebrain

That's it, you are done.

GSPT, reread the crack file - 1. press patch with no name ....THEN.... 2. press
generate with a name

hope that helps - You can try it as many times as you want, you just have to
install theBrain.dmg each time you try it for as fresh copy of the files.

hey polisdavid, I got lost at "click Patch button..." I have winzip and i unzipped
pb.jar but then i see a file called patch.properties and i can't open it.

Hi!

When I downloaded The Brain 7 and installed it as per fiercygoat12's instructions

on my PC, I already had the protrial version of Personal Brain 6 running on my
computer. The protrial version expired today and as I expected, I don't have access
to some of their features like adding attachments. However, The Brain 7 is working
fine and I am happy with that. But I see that it is still a protrial version and it
says that it will expire in a few days, too. What should I do? I can reinstall but
I don't want to lose all the mindmaps that I have created using the software.

hey polisdavid, can you try to crack iMindMap 5 ultimate for Mac OSX. I have been
looking for this app but the only version they have are for Windows PC. They also
use Java for their app but it seems so complex. I really need this app, I mean real
bad. You seemed to be good with Java files too complex for me...I even tried using
you app for personal brain but there are way too many. If you can, please reply on
pirate bay forum on this thread that I have already set up:

When I click on Patch, it gives the path name of the file as well as (Access is
Denied) right beside it. Will that cause problems?

Also, I've used The Brain 7 before and the trial period has run out. Will I still
be able to do this?

I'm using Windows 7. The .dmg file won't work for me right?

It's alright, I've got it already. I basically changed the security settings of the
brain.jar file to "Full Control" for Trusted Installers, then I proceeded with the
patch.

Worked like a charm, thank you so much. Just want you to know that you've helped an
entire batch of university students. Our lecturer is very sadistic and gave us
notes using TheBrain... which we know is unprintable in the free version.

info7.bin file.... is it in my /Library? I'm not sure what the "show your hidden
files" instruction means...

fiercygoat12: Thank you. It worked on my pc, Win7 x64. The only change was I had to
run the patch in Safe Mode to get access to the brain.jar file. For others trying
this, after you click "patch" check in the "status" box. If it says "access
denied", try safe mode.

Some extras that worked for me in windows xp. I downloaded the software and
installed it. I disabled my internet connection (Hardware via My Computer -
Properties etc). I then blocked internet access for 2 programs in the installation
directory - PersonalBrain.exe and TheBrain.exe (in case).
I copied info7.bin into the installation directory (under 'Program Files' which I
had named TheBrain7).
On starting the program I saw that it was still not registered (Help). I registered
the program offline to see what would happen. I ran the TheBrain - when I tried to
register the program offline it said "failed". I also received a message box
instructing to install the file info7A.bin
in the folder "C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataTheBrain" (even
though I used a different folder name during installation. I also copied info7.bin
this folder and renamed it to info7A.bin. Started the program and it was still
unregistered. I renamed the file back to info7.bin and when I registered the
program offline again it was successful!

I also disabled "check for major updates on startup" in Options-Preferences-General

in the program.

Iammoniker is right. I am using windows 7 x64 and copied my info7.bin file into
c:/Users/"yourusername"/AppData/Roaming/TheBrain folder. Of course, you must copy
it to the main program folder as well in c:/Program Files/TheBrain. That was the
only thing that removed the trial stuff and now the program is showing as
registered. Thanks to the uploader and Iammoniker. You saved me one months work,
man, cause I need to go on using the pro features of my map.

Dear Win7 64 users , the problem with you all is that your brain.jar is not being
patched and thus its not registered as pro.. solution uninstall its and then
reinstall "thebrain ver 7.0.4.5" to C drive only, not in programfiles.. later on
patch it successfully...

3. Close the Program (This will create a folder in C:ProgramDataTheBrain)

5. Patch thebrain.jar (make sure it is not accessed denied - in 64 bit systems)

6. Generate a name
