Lick 9 - Fast Picking

Martin says...

Finally there’s some fun fast picking for all you rock maniacs out there. The first part
employs a concept that I love to use, where you have a set of notes on the E- and A-strings,
then you play that same fingering up two strings, up two frets, giving you the same notes
and octave higher.

Finally in the 2nd bar this concept is extended over all 6 strings and leads into a picking
sequence that people like John Petrucci are quite known for. But as you see, this works
greatly in Fusion music as well!
