EV HOT SPOTS

----------
Attack
----------
Location: Route 207
Pokemon: Machop (1), Stantler* (1)
Levels: 6-8
Comment: Eh, it's the earliest one (well, technically second earliest, after
Shinx), and the Machop are abundant enough so yeah. Stantler's only available
through the Pokeradar.
Location: Route 210 North
Pokemon: Bibarel (2), Machop (1), Machoke (2), Scyther (1), Bagon* (1),
Zangoose* (2)
Levels: 28-30
Comment: Pretty good spot. And Scyther's an awesome Pokemon anyway so eh. Bagon
is only available through the Pokeradar, and Zangoose are only available when
you put the Ruby Cartridge in the GBA slot.
Location: Almost anywhere with Water
Pokemon: Gyarados (2), Seaking (2)
Levels: 50+
Comment: You'll need a Super Rod, but it's a pretty okay technique. Any water's
available, but they not all of them are available in all routes.

Defense
-----------
Location: Oreburgh Mine
Pokemon: Geodude (1), Onix (1)
Levels: 5-10
Comment: Earliest one, and Geodude are pretty common so it's pretty good.
Location: Route 214
Pokemon: Geodude (1), Rhyhorn (1), Graveler (2)
Levels: 21-24
Comment: It's a pretty okay training spot, should you not like Iron Island.
Location: Iron Island
Pokemon: Graveler (2), Geodude (1), Onix (1), Steelix (2)
Levels: 30-35
Comment: It's still the best one, and the addition of Steelix just made it even
better.
Location: Route 227 and Stark Mountain (Outside)
Pokemon: Graveler (2), Weezing (2), Rhyhorn (1), Skarmory (2), Torkoal* (2)
Levels: 51-53
Comment: This is also good, but their encounter rate is pretty low (something
Iron Island is superior to). Torkoal is only available through the Pokeradar.
Location: Stark Mountain (Inside)
Pokemon: Graveler (2), Weezing (2), Rhyhorn (1), Magcargo (2), Koffing* (1)
Levels: 51-53
Comment: Like above, but inside, and replace Skarmory with Magcargo. They're
more common now so yeah. Koffing only appear in Heatran's room, though.
------------------
Special Attack
------------------
Location: Old Chateau
Pokemon: Gastly (1), Gengar* (3)
Levels: 14-17
Comment: Earliest one, and probably really good because it's the only one
you'll find. Gengar is only available if you insert any GBA cartridge.
Location: Route 208
Pokemon: Budew (1), Ralts (1), Roselia (2)
Levels: 17-20
Comment: Kinda okay. Budew are pretty common.
Location: Fuego Ironworks
Pokemon: Magnemite (1), Magmar (2)
Levels: 28-30
Comment: It's okay, they're pretty common.
Location: Route 224
Pokemon: Roselia (2), Gloom (2), Beautifly (3), Oddish* (1), Natu* (1)
Levels: 49-52
Comment: Okay-ish, but I don't like the location. Oddish only appear at night,
while Natu only appear through swarms.

-------------------
Special Defense
-------------------
Location: Route 212 South
Pokemon: Tentacool (1), Tentacruel (2), Lotad* (1), Lombre* (2)
Levels: 20-40
Comment: Not that good since the last two require the Sapphire Cartridge, but
at least it's versatile. The first two are found through surfing, while the
last two are found in the grass, which require the Sapphire Cartridge like
said.
Location: Route 218 (Walking and Surfing)
Pokemon: Mr. Mime (2), Tentacool (1), Tentacruel (2)
Levels: 20-40
Comment: Kinda good coz you get to kill mimes now I guess.
Location: Route 223
Pokemon: Tentacruel (2), Mantyke (1)
Levels: 30-50
Comment: Ooh, Mantykes. Tentacruel are pretty common so yeah.

---------
Location: Route 201 and Lake Verity
Pokemon: Starly (1)
Levels: 2-4
Comment: Meh, it's the first one available, and it's pretty good for low-
levelled Pokemon since they're so common.
Location: Trophy Garden
Pokemon: Pichu (1), Pikachu (2), Staravia (2), Plusle* (1), Minun* (1), Meowth*
(1)
Levels: 21-24
Comment: Pretty cool place. The ones with an asterisk on them aren't daily
Pokemon, but rather the Pokemon that only appear for two days when you talk to
Mr. Backlot.
Location: Route 222
Pokemon: Electabuzz (2), Floatzel (2), Wingull (1), Skitty* (1)
Levels: 39-41
Comment: Eh, not that good since there are many more Pokemon in this route. But
thoe first two are the most common, so eh. Skitty is only available through
swarms.
Location: Victory Road Main Level (Surfing)
Pokemon: Floatzel (2), Golbat (2)
Levels: 30-50
Comment: I've been suggested of this millions of times, but not once have I
remembered to put this here. People say this is the best simply because while
surfing, those two are the only ones you'll see. I hate the place, but try it
out! =D
Location: Route 225
Pokemon: Fearow (2), Raticate (2), Spearow (1), Rattata (1)
Levels: 47-50
Comment: I like this one. Fearow and Raticate are pretty common.
Location: Route 227 and Route 228 (Surfing)
Pokemon: Poliwhirl (2) and Poliwag (1)
Levels: 35-55
Comment: Many users sent this, and I agree that this is a nice hotspot as
those two are the only ones you'll find.

------
Location: Route 201 and Lake Verity
Pokemon: Bidoof (1)
Levels: 2-4
Comment: Meh, it's the first one available, and it's pretty good for low-
levelled Pokemon since they're so common. And yes, same I said for Starly.
Location: Route 205 South
Pokemon: Shellos (1), Bidoof (1), Gastrodon* (2)
Levels: 9-12
Comment: Better than the above. Shellos are abundant, which is really good.
Gastrodon is only available through surfing, while Shellos is available through
both tall grass and surfing.
Location: Route 212 South
Pokemon: Shellos (1), Quagsire (2), Gastrodon* (2), Grimer* (1)
Levels: 23-26
Comment: It's a cool route as they're pretty common. Gastrodon is only
available through surfing. Shellos is available through both methods. Grimer is
only available through the Pokeradar.
Location: Route 215
Pokemon: Marill (2), Lickitung (2)
Levels: 20-22
Comment: Thanks to Carlos for pointing this out. They're two different Pokemon
so it might be worth your time.
