3. Pull straight out on the bumper cover to release
the side clips located on the left and right sides of
the factory grille.
4. Use a 10mm deep socket to remove the two (2)
bolts securing the upper brace. Shop Tip: Use a
magnet to remove the bolts once they are loose.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the horns
mounted onto the top brace and remove the brace
from the vehicle.
6. Apply protective masking tape around the factory
grille opening to protect the paint on the bumper
cover.

7. Pull the top of the factory grille toward you and
remove the lower four (4) 10mm hex bolts and the
mounting clips they thread into. Shop Tip: Use a small
flat blade screw driver to carefully pry to clips off once
the bolts are removed. You will not be able to remove
the factory grille from the bumper cover if you do not
remove the clips first. Do not drop the clips behind
the bumper cover.

21. Realign the top brace behind the assembled grille and
reinstall the electrical connectors to the horns. Install
the factory push pins that secure the grille to the top
brace.
22. Push the grille back as far as it will go and drill a 7/64”
mounting hole against the rear edge of the existing
hole in the top brace and through the support that
the top brace bolts to. Install #8 x 1/2” black truss
head screws. The new hole will be approximately 1/2”
behind the original threaded factory bolt hole.

26. Reinstall the factory bumper cover screw, making sure
it does not shift the bumper cover back. If it does
move the bumper cover back, enlarge the hole until
the screw base clears.
***** IMPORTANT *****
Carefully close the hood and check for proper clearance
between the hood and the grille. If the edge of the hood
touches the grille, you must move the grille far enough back
to clear the hood.

23. Push in on the grille until it is tight against the top
brace, then use a 7/64” drill bit to drill a hole directly
in front of the factory push fastener and install a 3/4”
truss head screw to help keep the assembled grille
from moving in and out.

27. Align the radiator support panel cover back into place
and use a grease pencil to mark the forward edges
where it needs to be trimmed to fit. You will need to
trim back the webbing on the underside. Trim the
part until it will fit back underneath the inner edge of
the factory grille with all push pin hole aligned. The
forward most push pin hole in the radiator support
panel cover ( A ) will need to be enlongated back in
order to install the push pin.

24. Carefully remove the masking tape by pulling it back
over onto itself to minimize the chance that the tape
might break. If the tape looks like it will get caught,
pull out on the bumper cover for additional frame
clearance (not shown).
25. Reinstall the factory push fastener (where shown),
then enlarge the remaining hole to expose the factory
threaded hole.
28. Grind off the mounting bosses from the back of
the grille emblem until it is flush with the back sur
face. Apply the supplied double faced tape to the
entire back of the emblem for installation.

WARRANTY INFORMATION:
E&G Classics, Inc. warrants its chrome parts and products to be free from defects in
material, workmanship or finish for Thirty-Six (36) months from the date of shipment by
E&G. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement, at E&G Classics option, of the
defective part or product.
To obtain performance under this warranty you must:
1.) Present your E&G unit to an authorized distributor in your area with proof of purchase.
2.) If no distributor is available, contact E&G Classics (address below) for authorization to
return unit.
3.) Returns - All unauthorized returns will be refused. Merchandise approved by E&G for
return must have been purchased within the Thirty-Six (36) months. All returns require
an authorization number obtained from E&G and the actual return must be accom-
panied by the written authorization form filled out completely. All merchandise must
be inspected upon receipt and shortages reported within 48 hours. All merchandise
must be in a resalable condition. Merchandise must be packed carefully in the origi-
nal packing. If original packing is no longer usable, repack item(s) comparable to orig-
inal manner. All returns are subject to a 25% handling charge. Special order items are
not returnable. Defective merchandise must have an explanation of the problem. No
credit will be issued unless invoice number and date of purchase has been supplied.
Manufacturer shall be sole judge of defects in a product.
4.) UPS accounts - All returns must be prepaid. Do not send return shipments freight
collect. Once E&G has made its decision and it is a claim against our warranty policy,
E&G will credit incoming freight on damaged parts.
5.) No discontinued part or parts changed due to body style are returnable.

You are responsible for inspecting all packages containing E&G Classics' parts and
product immediately upon their receipt and must file a claim with the carrier for any dam-
age disclosure by such inspection and notify E&G classics in writing at the above address
of any such damage. This warranty does not extend to any of our products which have
been subject to misuse, neglect, accident or have been altered or repaired in any way.
This warranty does not cover any accidental or consequential damages for any breach of
this warranty agreement. E&G Classics shall have no responsibility for any loss of time,
inconvenience, commercial loss or consequential damage, nor shall E&G be liable for any
injury or damage to persons or property by reason of any defect in material, workman-
ship or finish of its parts or products. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and
you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
