5. Use a flat blade screwdriver to pry off the factory black 7. Once the black plastic factory fins have been removed,

tory chrome frame. Make sure all cut out sections are
properly sanpped into place.

8. Re-tape 1/4” inside the masking tape applied around
the factory grille opening.
9. Scuff the exposed paint with a scotch brite pad. Paint
everything that would be visible through the mesh
grille with flat or semigloss black paint. Once the pain is
dry, remove only the tape applied in Step 8.
13. E&G recommends the use of a 9mm ratcheting box
wrench to tighten the 8-32 ESNA half nuts supplied
with this kit. There is not enough room to use a stan-
dard 9mm socket and ratchet.

10. Align the assembled grille into the grille opening, pressing
the grille firmly into place to mark the eight (8) mounting
stud locations onto the grille mounting return.
11. Use a 5/16” drill bit to drill through all eight (8) marks
made in the previous step for mounting stud access. Be
sure to blow out all plastic shavings.

14. Install a supplied black plastic washer and an 8-32
ESNA half nut onto each stud and completely tighten.
15. The bottom outer corners will require trimming the
washers as shown in the closeup to properly seat
against the interior grille opening of the bumper cover.

12. Trim the ends from the thread protectors and reinstall
them into the bottom mounting studs. Do not install
them onto the upper mounting studs. This will conceal
the lower studs from view.

16. Align the E&G lower grille into the opening.
17. Use a 3/32” drill bit to drill (perpendicular to the face of
the grille frame) through the holes in the lower E&G
grille frame and through the verticle divider in the
bumper cover (17a) and into the bumper cover (17b).
Remove the grille frame and blow out plastic shavings.

18. For vehicles other than ones painted black or dark col-
ors, mask the grille return 1/2” back from the front of
the lower opening and scuff the exposed paint with a
scotch brite pad. Paint the return and, for all vehicles,
everything that would be visible through the mesh grille
with flat or semigloss black paint. Once the paint is dry,
remove the masking tape.

WARRANTY INFORMATION:
E&G Classics, Inc. warrants its chrome parts and products to be free from defects in material,
workmanship or finish for Thirty-Six (36) months from the date of shipment by E&G. This war-
ranty is limited to the repair or replacement, at E&G Classics option, of the defective part or prod-
uct.
To obtain performance under this warranty you must:
1. Present your E&G unit to an authorized distributor in your area with proof of pur
chase.
2. If no distributor is available, contact E&G Classics (address below) for authorization
to return unit.
3. Returns - All unauthorized returns will be refused. Merchandise approved by E&G for
return must have been purchased within the Thirty-Six (36) months. All returns require
an authorization number obtained from E&G and the actual return must be accompa-
nied by the written authorization form filled out completely. All merchandise must be
inspected upon receipt and shortages reported within 48 hours. All merchandise must
be in a resalable condition. Merchandise must be packed carefully in the original pack-
ing. If original packing is no longer usable, repack item(s) comparable to original man-
ner. All returns are subject to a 25% handling charge. Special order items are not return-
able. Defective merchandise must have an explanation of the problem. No credit will be
issued unless invoice number and date of purchase has been supplied. Manufacturer
shall be sole judge of defects in a product.
4. UPS accounts - All returns must be prepaid. Do not send return shipments freight col-
lect. Once E&G has made its decision and it is a claim against our warranty policy, E&G
will credit incoming freight on damaged parts.
5. No discontinued part or parts changed due to body style are returnable.

You are responsible for inspecting all packages containing E&G Classics' parts and product
immediately upon their receipt and must file a claim with the carrier for any damage disclosure
by such inspection and notify E&G classics in writing at the above address of any such damage.
This warranty does not extend to any of our products which have been subject to misuse, neg-
lect, accident or have been altered or repaired in any way. This warranty does not cover any
accidental or consequential damages for any breach of this warranty agreement. E&G Classics
shall have no responsibility for any loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss or consequen-
tial damage, nor shall E&G be liable for any injury or damage to persons or property by reason
of any defect in material, workmanship or finish of its parts or products. This warranty gives you
specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
