1. Introduction
As the reality television show pops up in these days, more and more people are
interested in watching these shows as they include a wide range of variety of channels
as well as also part of the entertaining programs for the people. It also makes people
feel less bored when they are watching it. Also, these reality television shows brings
people into the reality fields environment that they have never participated before. Most
of the reality television shows are set up due to the advancement in technology (Julia
Raeside, 2011). The target audience selected for this reality television show is mainly
18 years old and above because every day these age groups do watch these reality
television shows for the purpose of entertaining themselves as well as also to have less

5. Literature Review
The literature review of this research is that it needs social interaction between

The purpose of this research proposal is to examine how the young female
Singaporeans are motivated and what they really expect of their life after watching
these reality television shows. Also, this is to bring social alertness to this research topic

9. Audience
The targeted selected age groups for the audience are mainly ages of 18 years
old and above because these groups of audience watch the reality television shows the
most for relieving stress and for other purposes like entertaining amusement for
themselves and also to have less boredom while watching these reality television
shows. The general community is also another way to draw the attention of the
audiences after watching these reality television shows. As there could be many
changes in today’s world technology, the community should also be aware of by having
socially responsible behavior which means keeping aware of the news value and
behaving ethically and with sensitivity approach towards social, cultural, economic and

the environmental issues. It is also important to remind the community about the
importance and issues of the social responsibility such as shaping the future’s
generations and also increasing knowledge about the global issues within the society as
