From our different point of views and personalities, everyone has their own ideas, opinions and
beliefs that were molded while they watched the video. Whether it were their thoughts, feelings and
actions, the speech definitely brought an impact, pictures can tell a thousand words, however it's
nothing compared to words spoken, for they caress your minds, your soul and they are seldom
forgotten. By saying so, I will further elaborate on the similarities and differences of our perspectives
and opinions pertaining to the speech by Luisa Montalvo, how it moved us and how it suddenly
brought light to small steps that can become a giant leap.

To begin with, I will compare the ideas on thoughts, feelings and actions. My perspective in
comparison to the others, includes how we both felt inspired and moved, it definitely brought a wider
vision to us. We felt that it was as entertaining, as it was informative. We found that her actions
brought enlightenment, and it was a refreshing experience. The speech was humorous, but despite
all the entertainment she put into it, her thoughts remained intact, her intentions were clear and thus
from the words she strongly spoke, her message and feelings reached many.

For the differences and contrast that we came across at some point while watching the speech,
includes finding myself in awe and amazed at how the topic was entertainingly hilarious, yet it
remains genuine. How her thoughts were carefully laid out, yet she managed to keep the crowd with
her was worth appreciating and recognizing. What I also found quite different was instead of finding
the speech quite convincing, I found it to be relatable and friendly, her communication skills, how she
appeared to be welcoming and approachable deepened the connection she had with the audience.
She elaborated her story quite profoundly and that should not go unnoticed. The speech may have
opened the minds of people, but for me, it did so much more than that.

Coming to a conclusion, although we all have different perspectives on the speech that we
watched, the content of the speech itself is something that we will be able to apply in our lives. Along
with a great impact, embedded are the words “let go of your first impressions.” How doing just that
can make the world seemingly better, and the speaker made that clear.
