DR. ALOK KUMAR RAY is a lecturer by profession who teaches Political Science to
undergraduate and postgraduate students. He obtained M.A.,M.Phil and Ph.D
degrees from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Test books written by him are
being taught in +2 and +3 levels of studies across Odisha . He has edited three
books in social sciences containing research based articles . Being a bilingual poet(
writes both in Odia and English) his poems have been published in many national
and international journals and anthologies .Many a time he has been selected as the
best poet by online poetry groups like Brain bud, Asian Literary Society etc. He is a
celebrated poet and has been featured in online magazines. In 2019 he obtained
Kabikanya Smruti Puraskar for being the best budding English poet by a state level
literary organisation in Odisha. In his poems simplified narrations of ups and downs
of mundane life, emotions, love, betrayal and lucid description of natural
environment are basically found. His poems are simple, jargon free, readable and
people centric. Now he resides at Kendrapara in Odisha, India. He is a life member of
Indian Red Cross Society. He was the honorary Joint Secretary of District Red Cross
Society, Kendrapara in Odisha for more than three years.He was also the honorary
Secretary of St.John Ambulance, District Branch, Kendrapara in Odisha for a couple
of years. He had conducted a number of research based projects while working with
these organizations. Dr.Ray has some unique hobbies which he continues to keep
alive albeit hustles and bustles of earthly life. Regularly he practices Yoga, Pranayam
and Bhabatit Dhyan (Transcendental Meditation).

A ANNAPURNA SHARMA is Deputy Chief Editor of Muse India, literary e-journal. Her
works are forthcoming, or have appeared, in Westward Quarterly, Mad Swirl,
International Writers journal, Spark, Destine Literare, Reader’s Digest, Women’s Era,
Assam Tribune, Active Muse amongst others. She also contributes book reviews to
Muse India and Triveni Journal. A nutritionist by profession, but a writer at heart, her
maiden book of poems, Melodic Melange was appreciated for excellence, 2019
(Pulitzer Books). Her poem was shortlisted for All India Poetry Competition, 2017
conducted by The Poetry Society of India.

BHAGYASHREE MISHRA works as a Software Engineer with Wipro, hailing from
Sunabeda, Odisha. Her passions include composing poems, writing short stories,
essays and articles. She also crafts quotes and micro poems. She has won trophies
in several extempore, debate and elocution competitions. She was the Winner of
District Level environment-cum-mineral awareness program conducted by NALCO
and Society of Geoscientists and Allied Technologists (SGAT) at Panchpatmali Bauxite
Mines, Damanjodi ,2008.She was a part of the National Creativity Olympiad
conducted by the Institution of Engineers at Jamshedpur,2010. She has an article
named “Success-an epitome of calibre articulated” published in her college
magazine(The nistian). In her poetry, social concerns, love for nature, soulful
romance and patriotism are portrayed lucidly. She has also cleared the ESOL
Examination conducted by Cambridge University and has received the British English
Council certification too. She has been conferred upon with Manosrijan award 2017,
by Manosodhanam - a great level literary platform that nurtures young writers. She
has secured second position in National level article writing contest conducted by
The Literati Council of India. She has also been conferred upon with the prestigious
Kabikanya Ashes award 2018 for her contributions to literature by Kabikanya
Parishad of Odisha. She owns a page in Facebook - 'Oozy thoughts of a crazy mind'
where she posts her literary works.

DR. GEETHA BALA is an avid researcher has finished her doctorate in Food
Chemistry, aspires to make prominent contributions in the field of Food Science and
Technology. Her research focuses on natural antioxidants that can substitute the
synthetic chemicals generally used in food industry. She is interested in bringing the
concepts of traditional grains and their benefits to limelight and spreading the
awareness among the general public. Her work has also shown the importance of
dietary modifications and their reflection in our immune system through the gut
(stomach). Apart from research, she likes to get involved in social work, a keen
reader with interest in history and music.
GEETHA NAIR G is a retired Associate Professor of English from Trivandrum, Kerala,
with more than thirty years of teaching experience. She has to her credit two books
of poems, “Shored fragments” and “Drawing flame”. A collection of her short stories,
“Wine, woman and wrong”, is due to be published very soon by HBB, Delhi. She is a
regular contributor to online magazines like Literary vibes and The mag. Her writing
has been anthologized in prestigious publications like The Punch Anthology. She is
an active member of Poetry chain, an initiative of the eminent poet Gopikrishnan
Kottoor, which has a national presence.

GITI TYAGI is an editor, creative artist, a poetess , short story writer and Book
reviewer. She is Masters in English, Masters in Education and holds a UGC-NET
certificate. She is a former Senior Lecturer, who won The Best Innovative Teacher
Award, at MM University, Ambala. Presently, she works as an Educational Consultant
for Buddha Group of Institutions. Her stories, articles and poetry have been
published in reputed magazines such as ‘Muse India’, ‘The Call Beyond’, ‘IntellyJelly’
and magazines of international fame such as ‘The International Poetry Digest’ and
‘The Nightingale Poetry Journal’. Her much appreciated poems and stories have been
winning hearts of the readers of all age groups. She has won several poetry and
creative story writing competitions and is an extremely popular story writer for
reputed children magazines.
She has been honoured twice by the management of Sri Aurobindo Society for her
contributions in the literary world.
HEMA RAVI is a poet, reviewer, critic and editor of Efflorescence (published by the
Chennai Poets’ Circle). She writes metrical verses, haiku, haibun, tanka, and ‘vers
libre.’ Her verses have been featured in several online and international print
journals, noteworthy among them being the International Writers Journal and the
Amaravati Poetic Prism. A few haiku and form poems have been prize winners. As
Secretary of the Chennai Poets’ Circle, she encourages novices and young writers to
unleash their creativity. Her write-ups have been published in the Hindu, New Indian
Express, Femina, Woman's Era, Champak, Gokulam, International Indian and Khaleej
Times, among others. Anecdotes featured in the Femina, International Indian and
Khaleej Times fetched her gift-hampers as prizes. She is the author of ‘Everyday
English,’ ‘Write Right Handwriting Series1,2,3,’ co-author of Sing Along Indian Rhymes’
and ‘Everyday Hindi.’ She scripted, lent voice support for ‘Everyday English with
Hema,’ series of English lessons broadcast by the Kalpakkam Community Radio.
After a stint in the Central Government, she has been in the field of education for
over two decades. Currently, she is a freelance trainer for IELTS and Communicative
English. She is known to motivate learners to their fullest potential, facilitates their
all-round development, urges them to be excellent all-rounders.

HIMANSHU BHUSHAN JENA (b. 1980) ,M. A, M. Phil. B. Ed. UGC-NET hails from Raipur
under Jajpur district in Odisha ,India. He is a published poet, author, researcher,
reviewer ,critic and editor of outstanding global grace. His first personal anthology,
Tranquil Rapture has been released on 19th September on great GIPF -2019 at
Guntur . He is also the recipient of Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of IHACEL
in 2018 .World Poetic Star on behalf of WNWU in 2019 and Star Reviewer Award on
behalf of Global Literary Society in 2019 for his outstanding contribution to the field
of world literature . Currently he is a star reviewer of Global literary society, Brainbud
and Pen Wonders International.
JAYALAKSHMI born into an ancient aristocratic agricultural family , Karindalam in
Northern Kerala , graduated from St.Teresa’s college, Cochin. An ardent seeker of
indescribable lustre of spiritual ecology, her writings have been an adventurous
foray into the unknown, yet seductive glimmer of its mystery. An online critic and
poet a soul tormented by the miseries of humans, animals and every ailing element
in our Eco system, she has always been a a strong advocate for animal welfare and
environmental protection. Blessed childhood memories with her loved ones, house
between the family plantations in the lap of Western Ghats greatly influenced by
the traditional moorings, the kavus , theyyams, the rendition of scriptures, she was
reading herself for a spiritual quest , a foray into the unknown terrain and writing
came naturally, and these spiritual ecological passion and longings radiates in her
poems. Married to Dr.C.K Narayanan, a pediatrician, they are blessed with 2 children.

JELLIE N.WYCKELSMA, a retired teacher librarian, was born in The Netherlands in


1935 and came to Australia in 1958. She spent her professional life in Public,
Commercial/Special, and School Libraries until her retirement in 1996. Her Published
works: Co-author of three anthologies of poetry: She’s Apples (1996) and She ate a
Bowl of Poetry (1997), Adrift … (2018). Poetry: Life’s a Bra Strap (2014), and Flowers of
the Soul (2016), And the Poetess speaks … (2019) Novels: Crossing the Bridge at San
Remo (2011), The Photograph and the Diary of the Daughter (2012). Novellas: Once
upon … a Night (2013) ,Veering off course (2014) , Life’s better with a Book (2014),
Wild Waves (2015),The Dog Walker (2017). Short Stories: Diving in at the Deep End
(2016). Non-Fiction: Probus Club of Anderson’s Inlet Inc.: 1995-2015; twenty years in
a nutshell (2015). A novella Wild Fire (2020) is ready to go into print. Other works,
poems and short stories, have been published in various periodicals and anthologies
in Australia, India and in The Netherlands.
S. JOSEPH WINSTON is pursuing Ph D at the Mechanical engineering department of
IIT Madras . His research is in the area of computer vision for remote robot
calibration. He has completed M. tech in the year 1991 in machine design with the
university first rank and presently working as Senior Scientific Officer , heading
Remote handling and irradiation experiments Division and also heading Steam
Generator Inspection Devices section at Indira Gandhi Center for Atomic Research ,
Kalpakkam. His area of interest is development of robotic systems for remote
inspection of power plant systems. He has 25 years of research experience in
Department of Atomic Energy, handled many research projects and guided many
academic students in their projects both B.E and M.E. (1993 to Till date). He has won
Group Leader - Group Achievement award for the Development and Qualification of
PFBR Steam Generator Inspection System (PSGIS). He is also Functioning as Station
Director for the Kalpakkam Community Radio Station (KCRS) at 90.8 MHz which
Department of Atomic Energy has envisaged for the communities living around. His
hobbies are photography, travelling, poetry writing and creating computer program
snippets. He loves to weave words and loves the cadence of rhyme that emanates
from the poem for the serenity of the soul. His maiden publication is the poem “
Meandering Course of life” in the anthology “The Vase”..

RTD. PROF. LATHA PREM SAKHYA was born in 1959 to Tamil parents. After 30 years
of teaching, she retired as Head of the Dept of English from Marthoma college for
Women, Perumbavoor. While in service, she entered the world of writing by
publishing her poems –“ Memory Rain” in 2008, “Nature at the Doorstep” (2011) a
blend of her musings, paintings and poems and a collection of poems titled “Vernal
Strokes” (2015). Her poems are published now in reputed journals and anthologies.
Her stories for children and her reflections are published in e- magazines and
anthologies. She contributes stories and poems regularly for “Little Hands” a
children's monthly print magazine and to “Literary Vibes”, a prominent weekly e
journal. She has co-edited several poetry print Magazines, poetry anthologies and
e- magazines. She is a member of three prominent writers' groups - Poetry Chain
based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala; Aksharasthree - the Literary Woman, based
in Kottayam, Kerala; and India Poetic Circle, based in Chennai, Tamilnadu, besides
many other online poetry and painting groups. She has a passion for painting.
Though untutored, she works with oil, acrylic and watercolor and has done more
than 50 paintings and has participated in three exhibitions.
Mrs. LEENA RAJAN is an Academician, Published author and poet, Reviewer and
Editor, Painting artist, singer, violinist, finds joy in following her passion. Her
Important recent awards are "Master of creative impulse", celebrating her Epic,
Krishnavatar and , O Kanna" by World poetry conference at Bathinda, India and
Premio Mundal a la Excelencia Literaria 2019-20" (World Awards For Literary
Excellence) from the Government of Peru. This award is conferred upon her by the
Literary Board of Government of Republic of Peru, Municipalidad Provincial De
Urubama in joint association with three other international literary organizations of
high repute, Motivational Strips (Sultanate of Oman), Union Hispanomundial De
Escritores (UHE) Peru and World Nations Writers' Union (WNWU), Kazakhstan.

Madhumathi . H is a nature lover, passionate about poetry writing (English and Tamil)
Photography, and Music. She believes writing is a soulful journey of weaving one's
emotions and thoughts, and it helps to explore life, observe, learn and evolve. She
experiences Metamorphosis through writing. Poetry, to Madhumathi, is a way of life.
Her poems are published with the Poetry Society India, in the AIPC anthologies 2015,
16, and17, the multilingual anthology Poetic Prism 2015, "Efflorescence" 2018,
2019(Chennai Poets’ Circle), IPC's ''Madras Hues Myriad Views''(2019), in the UGC

MADHU JAISWAL is a poet, writer and social worker hailing from Kolkata, India. She is
an optimistic and compassionate person who believes in humanity and sharing
smiles. Penning down one's thoughts is therapeutic to the creative souls and she
totally abides by this. Writings let her explore the inner abilities and express herself
to the outer world with ease. She is attached as an editor with The Impish Lass

S. MANIKANDAN is a Graduate in physics from the prestigious Sri Ramakrishna


mission ,Vivekananda College .Right from his childhood days ,he had a great
inclination towards Indian Fine Arts, especially towards Classical Carnatic Music. He
learnt Music from Smt Swarnalakshmi and Sri Kannan. He then joined under the
tutelage of Smt Nirmala Vaidayanathan who guided him to learning varieties of
repertoire . He got an opportunity to join the advance course for Carnatic Music at
Narada Gana Sabha ,where he was trained under the guidance of legendary
musicians. During his college days he was also interested in Harikatha ,the art of
story telling and has given performances too. He has equipped himself learning and
studying certificate course in Carnatic Music from Madras University,MBA (HR)from
Anna university ,post Graduate Diploma in Banking from IFBI and certificate and
Diploma courses in Sanskrit from Madras Sanskrit College . He then joined at the
Advance School for Carnatic Music run by Madras Music Academy and was trained
under stalwarts of Carnatic music . He is a B grade artist both in classical and
devotional categories from the All India Radio Chennai and is undergoing further
specialisation to learn Sri Dikshitar Krithis from Shri Kallidaikurichi Sri Balakrishnan
.He has also passed the Teacher Training course for artists conducted by the Fevicryl
Hobby Ideas as he is an eager learner of art and crafts and widened it by learning
the art of Doll making and recently won the Guinness Book of World records as a
collective measure .
Recently he Completed M.Phil and dissertation was on "Sri Shodasa Ganapathi
Krithis and iconography".
T.S MANOHAR is a small time freelance writer contributing to The Hindu, Bhavans
journal and a few online magazines. He firmly believes in highlighting social issues for
the well being of the society and humanity. Precisely why, he keeps his narration
simple and direct to rub positivism on the readers. He has graduation in Economics
and Law from Madras University. Playing cricket and other team games empowered
him to be part of a group for a common cause. Growing up in a joint family taught
him the values of caring and sharing. Employed with airline for over three decades
and more has taken him across the country and beyond. This enabled him to
interact with a cross section of society and a great learning experience. Volunteering
as an administrator for an NGO gave him an opportunity to serve and realise the
purpose of life. He makes constant affirmations to better himself and make this
world a better place to live in.

NANDINI RAMAN, moved out of the corporate world as the Marketing and Media
Head for Universal Music & Sony Music (Bombay), having worked with the likes of AR
Rahman, Shakira and Ricky Martin and moved to Chennai more than a decade ago,
to pursue her passion to help and empower people. She is the founder of “I am Fine
- Guidance & Wellness’ Consultancy services”. She holds a postgraduate degree in
Psychology from Madras University and has trained extensively to hone her
academic and clinical skills to equip herself today to be a successful consultant
counselor, a corporate trainer, a school counselor and a published columnist in The
Hindu’ educational supplement, The Edge. She is a regular guest faculty across many
well-established companies, schools, educational institutions and many training
colleges. Her core strength lies in her ability to empathise and respond to people’s
needs, almost instantly and her self motivated spirit and passion to motivate people
of all ages. She was an Assistant Professor and the University counselor for
Sathyabama University where she taught and trained students and faculty. Having
worked with numerous emotional and psychological problems, she has helped
teenagers with academic and behavioural issues. She has also conducted many
training programs with the Indian Army and Indian Navy, as she possesses a strong
affinity to the defence forces being an Indian Air Force ward herself. A volunteer at
the ‘Pediatric Ward’ of the Adyar Cancer Institute, Chennai, a regular donor at ‘Sneha
Sadan’ Girls Home, Egmore, an enthusiastic fund raiser for RASA India and an active
volunteer of Karnataka State Council For Child Welfare’s “Sharanya Children’s Home”.
She is a Registered Practicing Counselor (R.P.C) and an active member of Chennai

Dr. NITHYAKALYANI is a researcher by profession who uses her research skills to
further advance the knowledge in the scientific world especially enzymology. Her
interest in the research field started even before she pursued her Ph.D career, from
her school days where she used to collect newspaper articles to keeps tabs on the
progress happening in the science field. Her love for research doesn't end in the
laboratories but extends into the kitchen which results in fabulous dishes at most of
the times. She loves nature which had led her to promote environmentally
sustainable way of living at schools and also to participate in events to create
awareness at public places. She enjoys reading books of philosophical, medical
thriller and mystical fiction genres. Being a fan of traditional way of living, she makes
eco-friendly things instead of purchasing their chemical alternatives out in the

ORBINDU GANGA is a post-graduate in science and the first recipient of Dr Mitra


Augustine gold medal for academic excellence. He worked in financial, banking and
publishing domains. Proved his finesse as a Soft Skills Trainer and Content Account
Manager (Client Relationship Manager). He is a multilingual poet, author, critic,
content writer, painter, and spiritual healer. He was the featured poet in November
2019 of Inner Child Press International Publication (USA). His poems have been
published in SIPAY Literary Journal (Seychelles), Teesta Review (India), Sahitya Anand
(India), Spillwords Press (UK), SETU (USA), OPA, Atunis (Albania), Winamop (UK), The
MAG (India) & Poetry of Spring's Embrace (USA). His poems have been published in
anthologies like Vasudha 2, Raindrops of love, Heartistry, Medley of melodies,
Harmonious symphonies, World for Peace and Whispers of Softlay. He has published
three articles, two research papers, a book review, and a painting. He has authored
the book “SAUDADE.”
Dr .S.PADMAPRIYA was born in the Salem town of Tamilnadu state in India in 1982.
She holds a Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in Economics from the University of Madras.
She possesses Teaching, Research and Administrative experience in addition to over
23 years experience as a published writer. She has written poems, short stories,
essays, general articles, critical articles, research articles, book reviews and
forewords and they have been published far and wide. She has three collections of
poetry (‘Great Heights’, ‘The Glittering Galaxy’, ‘Galaxy’) to her credit. Her Debut Novel,
‘The Fiery Women’ has been published in India in 2020. She has been included in the
landmark book, ‘A Critical Survey of Indo- English Poetry’ (2016) and is also one of the
50 women poets writing in English in India, who have been covered in the colossal
work, ‘History of Contemporary Indian English Poetry’ (2019). She is also an associate
editor of the poetry anthology, ‘Muse of Now Paradigm- An Entry into Poepro’,
published in India in 2020.

PARVATHY a resident of Chennai, resides with her husband and mother in law in
Thiruvanmiyur and is working for a travel company in Chennai. She is a very
ambitious woman with many dreams and aspirations. She is a passionate blogger
and has been blogging since 2018. Most of her Sunday evenings are spent in
blogging on various topics. Her ambition is to write more articles on various topics
flawlessly. Apart from blogging , she is also a voracious reader. She spends her one
hour bus journey reading books. Apart from this, she also loves to listen to music
and 90s Hindi, Tamil, Ilayaraja songs are her favourites. She is also a foodie, animal
lover, animal enthusiast, love pets especially dogs.
PRABHA KHADKA is a teacher and photography is her hobby.

PRASANNA S , is an architect practicing in Chennai .His research on multi-faith centre


has been selected for two international conference presentation . He is one of the
creative heads behind the ,Nam veedu Nam oor nam kadhai. He had conducted
Oxide workshops in Delhi and NIT. He is an avid reader and follows international
cinema and current affairs. He has a flair for writing and has conducted workshops
on - Inclusive spaces and social paradigms. He is currently pursuing his Master's in
Architecture and also following his interests.
Dr . S RAVI NARAYANAN is presently working as Consultant Anaesthesiologist and
Intensivist at Teritiary Orthopaedic and Trauma Hospital in Bengaluru. Provision of
safe ananesthesia and adequate pain management forms cornerstone of his
professional practice. Though busy most of the time, he still manages to find interest
in following current affairs, listening to various music and surfing. In order to achieve
perfect balance of personal and professional life, he spends adequate time with
spouse Meenakshi, primary school teacher and daughter Shruthi ,studying in tenth
grade now. He is well versed in most of South Indian languages.

Roop Subramani, The author of this work is a work in progress. She is a homemaker
and an ordinary mom to two extraordinary kids whose lives she feels specially
blessed to be a part of. She writes to express her heart’s joy and feels utterly grateful
to be a simple conduit for conscious awareness. She essentially believes that
everyone has a unique passion within them that yearns to find an expression and
when it finds the appropriate channel, it comes out as artistic endeavors and
scientific discoveries that benefits humanity as a whole. And she truly feels that a
simple and curious mind to know things is the basis for all understanding. Although
spirituality is her primary intended goal towards living her everyday life, she can’t
help but see that it is in the small everyday things that she is best able to actually live
the goal to it’s ultimate fruition.
A. SADHANA RAJKUMAR is a Nutritionist and a Fitness Consultant with more than
twenty-five years of professional experience. She worked as a Research Assistant in
MV Hospital for Diabetes and also was a visiting Diet Consultant in various hospitals
in and around Adyar. She is on private practice currently. A celebrity Nutritionist and
has counselled over 25,000 clients over a period of thirty years. She was awarded for
her project on Nutritional Status of Drug Addicts in 1991, during her masters.
Declining Sparrow numbers and the rapid environment degradation prompted her
to turn into a passionate Sparrow Conservationist. She has been tirelessly working
towards bringing back the sparrows. Distributes free bird nests and has till date
distributed more than 2000 nests for free. Apart from this she also gives awareness
talks for school children, communities, corporates and social organisations.
Encourages waste recycling practices for children. She helps them in converting
waste water bottles into bird feeders and water bowls. She was awarded Doctorate
and also hailed as an Environment Hero by BBC and Real Heroes by Inbox 1305. She
has been awarded from various social organisations for her efforts in conservation.
She was a Cricketer during college and a passionate gardener too.

SAHAANA SRINIDHI SUDHAKAR is a student of class 5 at Maharishi Vidya Mandir ,


Chennai. She is an art lover and likes to involve always in different forms of art . Her
favorite art work is Zentangle .She also loves dance and music. She holds Green belt
in Karate. Learns Carnatic music, Western dance and Bharathanatyam . She aspires
to be an IAS officer.
SANJAI SRIVATSAN SUDHAKAR is a student of class 10 at Maharishi Vidya Mandir,
Chennai. He has passion for Maths and Science. He loves all kind of Sports like
Cricket, Table Tennis, Shuttle, Swimming, Roller Skating, Riffle Shooting, Chess to
name a few. He loves all forms of Art and Craft like One Stroke Painting, Kerala
Mural, Relief Art, Clay modeling, Mural Work. He is also a Cube lover and can solve
2*2, 3*3, 4*4 , 5*5 , mirror pyramid megamix square – 1 scube. His ambition is to
become a Robotic engineer and would like to serve the mankind.

B.S. SAROJA KRISHNA MURTHY is from Bangalore, Karnataka, India. She is a Post
graduate in literature, Graduate in Science and a Diploma holder in Commerce. She
has worked as Personal Secretary to the MD of a business organization for ten years.
Writing is her Passion since her college days. She writes both in Kannada and
English. She has written short stories, articles on social evils, on spirituality and life.
She is passionate about writing poems on variety of subjects and her writings have
been published in various journals, anthologies online as well as paperback.
SHALINI SAMUEL was born and brought up in Kanyakumari and started blogging
after completing her Post Graduation in Engineering. She got her first chance in
Inklinks, an anthology which carried poems by eminent personalities such as the late
President, APJ Abdul Kalam. Her next poem got published in the Taj Mahal Review, a
magazine which has a diverse readership.Soon her works were appearing in both in
print and online. She was the second runner-up in the Valentine Poetry Contest
conducted by the Writer's Empire. The forum helped her poems reach a wider
audience. In a contest held by Miracle ezine, she was the only Indian among the 20
winners. Her exposure to the works of poets from other parts of the world has
helped her to further refine her art. She has been variously chosen as “the poet of
the month” as well as “highly commendable poet” by Destiny Poets, UK. She has
been adjudged the winner in mini contests conducted by various poetry groups on
social media several times.Three of her books are taught to grade 8 and grade 12
school children of Kitaotao National High School in The Philippines. She is one of the
contributors to the book Contemporary Women Poets of India published by the
Poetry Society of India. She has to her credit three poetry collections, all being best-
sellers (online). In addition, they have also received favourable reviews from readers
and critics alike. Her poem ‘Sugary Syrup’ was nominated as the poem of the year
2017 by Salis Online Magazine.Apart from all this, she continues to work as a
freelance editor and content writer in her hometown.

SHREYA SEVELAR is a student of class 12 at Bhavan's Rajaji Vidyashram, Chennai.


She is an outgoing student with a passion for science. She discovered her talent with
the pen at a young age and has been writing short passages and poems ever since.
Her hobbies include baking, painting, dance, listening to music, and the most favorite
being reading. She is a voracious reader with a special fondness for mythology and
fiction. She also enjoys watching movies and TV shows and is an ardent follower of

SIVA AMRITHA NIVEDHIDHA. R is a physics graduate from IIT Madras. She lives in
Chennai with her husband and toddler. She has been an avid reader all through her

P. SRIBALA is a student of class 3 at P.S.B.B.S.S, K.K Nagar, Chennai. She loves to


dance bharathanatyam, sings carnatic music and reads a lot of Story books. She has
won gold medal in National Science Olympiad – 2019 & International English
Olympiad in 2018. She won the Best All Rounder scholarship from P.S.B.B.S.S in class
II in the year 2018. She has finished her Madhya in 1st class in 2020. She has

She got Distinguished performance in the Asset exams in the year 2019 – 20.
Dr. K SRIKALA GANAPATHY lives in Chennai with her beautiful family. She has
passion for academics, thirst for knowledge and loves Science and English. She has
PhD in Botany, interdisciplinary Microbiology. She is a University state Rank holder in
her undergraduate study and has published and presented several Scientific
research papers in National and International Journals and Conferences. She has
received 11 best paper presentation awards for presenting her research work at
various Seminars and conferences. She is presently the Advisory Board member of
World Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical sciences. She loves words and loves
to write. Writing gives her happiness and clarity. She has authored several articles
on the topic of education for benefit of students in the Hindu, Education Plus and

won the “Gold medal” in Bhagvat Gita competition conducted by Chinmaya Mission.
She won the Best All Rounder award in 2016 – 17 from P.S.B.B.S.S, K.K Nagar. She
won the overall Second place in Sanskrit 2016-17. She won the 1st place in Poetry
Competition – 2016 - 17 . She won the 1st place in Craft Competition in IMCT. She
won the 1st place in Children day Quiz - 2019 – 20.
SUDHA RAJENDRAN is a poet who is always in a search of words to explain her
world to you.

SUJATA PAUL hailing from Kolkata, presently living in Tripura is a bilingual poetess. By
profession she is a teacher but writing is her passion. She loves travelling, music and
a nature lover. She has published three poetry books, "Whisper of my soul" and
"Sarang" in English and "Astitwa" in Bengali. . Her poems and articles have been

SUJATHA VARADARAJAN is a passionate Science Educator. She is ardently involved in


developing critical thinking skills through workshops for students of all age groups.
Her core strength is in the pedagogy of Methods of Science. She conducts innovative
laboratory programs for school as well as college students. Developing curriculum
for Inquiry-based learning,Problem-based learning, Activity-based learning is her
forte. Founder of Funtasktic Science, an activity centre for school students, she
contributes to science teaching and learning through her workshops. She has
worked with renowned people like Padma Shree Sri Arvind Gupta at IUCAA, Pune.
Her journey to introduce inquiry to students began with her short stint at IISER Pune
and is currently pursuing her doctoral studies at HBCSE, TIFR, Mumbai. Her
Educational qualification is MSc. (Env. Chem.) (Gold-medallist), M.Sc. (Applied
Psychology), (Ph.D. in Science Education) and she has 18 years of Teaching
Experience.
DR SULTAN AHMED ISMAIL M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., D.Sc. is the Managing Director of the
Ecoscience Research Foundation, a not-for profit organization, in Chennai. Teaching from 25th
November 1974, he was the Head of the Department of Zoology and later the Department of
Biotechnology, The New College, Chennai. He has done extensive work (both research and
applied) on ecology and environment, earthworms and organic inputs since 1978. He has
been associated with several institutions, farmers and self-help groups promoting the
concepts of ecology, sustainability, organic concepts, waste management, waste water
treatment, etc. He was awarded the CASTME award for 1994-95 in the UK, the Arignar Anna

Special Contribution Award for outstanding contribution to earthworm industry at the 1st

Classes 1 to 12 of the Government of Tamil Nadu; and Chairman of the Scientific Review
Committee, Initiative for Research and Innovation in Science (IRIS) program of the Ministry of
Science and Technology, Government of India; Vice President Preparatory Committee of the
World Earthworm Industry Federation; Chairman of Dezhou Dr Fa Earthworm Standardization

SWETHA NARAYANKUMAR is a Believer of the supreme power and miracles of the


universe, biotechnologist with a passion for science, nature enthusiast, loves to
teach, admirer of arts and all things creative, finds happiness in little things, strongly
believes that humanity is the greatest of the human virtues that can save the world,
deeply inspired by positive and intellectual words as much as someone with good
sense of humour, loquacious at times who also seeks happy moments of solitude,
finds solace in music, food and sleep, apart from being at work enjoys spending time
with family, a light-hearted chatter with friends, day dreaming, watching series and
having random conversations on topics related to science, social issues and
philosophy.
THIRUPURASUNDARI SEVVEL is an Architect planner (having studied in India, the UK, and
France with scholorships ). She is a story teller and educator as well. She runs an architectural
consultancy called Studio Conclave and a social initiative called - Nam veedu Nam oor Nam
kadhai. She curates stories on social issues, documents and uses traditional techniques in her
projects, and works as a consultant for NGOs, schools and colleges.She is also a material
restorer and conservator , working closely with underprivileged women and children .She
shows balance in both her office and social work. Her work has impacted a lot of families and
children

TOSHINI , from her teenage years, has been keen on learning about plants and their
properties. Gardening is her favourite hobby. Her special area of interest in plant
research is to do pharmacological studies and studying the medicinal values of
plants to prove the saying ‘Food is medicine’ true. She has completed PhD in Botany.
She has done good teaching services in schools and colleges. She has also been
recognized for her good teaching skills.
DR. VARANASI RAMABRAHMAM has M.Sc. in Physics and Ph.D. in Bioinformatics. He is
proficient in Telugu (mother tongue), Hindi, English, German, French and Sanskrit languages.
He retired as Associate Professor of Physics from K. M. Center for P.G. Studies, Pondicherry
and is now settled at his native place at Bhimavaram, in West Godavari District of Andhra
Pradesh. He is a poet, academician, researcher, litterateur, translator, philosopher and
spiritualist. He does research in cognitive science, philosophy of time and philosophy of
science. He writes poetry, short-fiction, scientific papers, literary, scientific and spiritual articles
in Telugu, English, Sanskrit and poetry in French, German and Hindi. He has published 4 books

V .VARSHA SHREE is an eleven year old budding writer. She is a native of Tamilnadu
state in India. She began writing poems in English at the age of seven. Her poems
have been published in ‘Writers Editors Critics’ journal, ‘Madras Hues, Myriad Views’,
a souvenir book on Madras, ‘Confluence Volume 3’ - a book of Collaborative poetry,
'Efflorescence 2019', an anthology of poems brought out by Chennai Poets Circle in
Jan 2020 and in the anthology, 'Muse of Now Paradigm -An Intro into Poepro'
released in Feb 2020. She has also read her poems in various forums like ‘Chennai
Poets’ Circle’ and ‘Bangalore Poetry Circle’. She has also been penning short stories
in English since she was five. Currently, she is studying in the sixth standard of B.R.V.
Public School, Bangalore and is working on her debut Novella.
Dr. K VEENA GAYATHRI holds Phd in Microbiology . She has worked as full time research
scholar at the Centre for environmental Studies, Anna University , Chennai. She has won nine
best paper awards in national and international conferences for her research work. She is
currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology , Stella Maris
College, Chennai. About 52 post graduate students project work were guided during her
period of teaching where the area of specialization was on environmental biotechnology and
food biotechnology. She is guiding 4 PhD Research scholars. She has completed UGC minor
research projects , DBT projects and TNSCT projects. She was granted patent for the
biodegradation method of chlorophenols by a halotolerant bacterial consortium on 20th April
2017. She has published 42 papers in international journals and four book chapters.

VIDYA SHANKAR is a widely published poet and writer, a blogger, motivational


speaker, budding mandala artist, yoga enthusiast, and English language teacher with
experience in instructional designing and content development. An active member
of poetry circles, she is the recipient of literary awards and recognitions and has
been on the editorial of three anthologies, including Madras Hues, Myriad Views, an
anthology of prose, poetry, art and photographs on Madras. She has two books to
her credit ― The Flautist of Brindaranyam, (in collaboration with her photographer
husband, Shankar Ramakrishnan) and The Rise of Yogamaya. A “book” with the
Human Library, Chennai Chapter, Vidya uses the power of her words, both written
