6 What is SWOT?
SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses. Opportunities,
Strengths
Threats. SWOT analysis began as a business tool, but
plenty of people use it as a framework for career planning.
Weaknesses
The basic idea is simple – You think about your strengths
Opportunities as a job seeker, your weaknesses, opportunities around
you, and threats to your career success.
Threats Let’s start applying the idea to career planning by looking
at how Strengths apply.
