‫بكام هذا ؟‬

How much is this?

If you want to ask about the price for any item in the Arabic
without referring to the name of the product or the item you can
say b’kam haza ?

Or if you know the name of the item so you can use the name of
the item with (Kam) or (Cham) but (Kam) more casual

SAY THE PRICES IN ARABIC

25 fils , 50 fils , 75 fils , AED.1.5 , AED.3.25 , AED.14.75 ,

AED. 110 , AED. 120 , AED.200 , AED.2000

kam we need to use the singular noun for the
question only (the English grammar doesn’t
exist in the Arabic language and vise
versa……….

o Kam ta’we’lah tabghee ?

For the timing in Arabic it’s different than the English


as it mostly linked to our prayers timings.
So from 1:00 a.m to 11:00 we considered it as (asoboH)

From 12:00 to 2:00 we consider it the noon so it will be
in Arabic (ad’dohoor)
From 3:00 to 4: 00 we consider it as the afternoon so it
will be in Arabic (al’aA’soor)
From 5:00 to 7:00 p.m we consider it the evening so it
will be in Arabic (al’massa)
From 8:00 p.m to 12:00 a.m we consider it the night so
it will be in Arabic (b’il’ail)
