P – Plan
Proverbs 15:22 – Plans fail for lack of counsel but with many advisors they succeed.
Examples: Pre-Work:

A – Await
Micah 7:7 – But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord. I wait for God, my Savior, My God will hear me.
Action - Quiet. Sit in presence. Eliminate distractions. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead (Romans 8:26-27).

U – Unload Burdens
1 Peter 5:7 – Cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you.
Action – Get vulnerable. Use worry list. Confess sins (1 John 1:9). Troubles. Hebrews 2:18. Mark 9:24.

L – Lift up Voice
Ephesians 5:19 – Speaking to one another with psalms, hymns and songs from the Spirit. Sing and
make music from your heart to the Lord.
Action - Listen to 2-5 worship songs on a device. Shuffle/let God pick them. Note selection/lyrics.

A – Adoration
Proverbs 9:10 – Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge of the Holy One is
understanding.
Action - Read Psalm 139. Exodus 34:5-7. Joseph (Romans 8:28). Bible stories. Jesus. Mt. Carmel.

C – Christ’s New Creation

2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come, the old has gone the
new is here.
Action - Ephesians 1-2, note how many times in Him is mentioned. Deut 32:9. Purpose (Titus 1:1-2).
T – Thanksgiving
Ephesians 5:20 – Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus
Christ.
Action - List out gifts thankful for: Salvation (Eph 2:8-9), Testimony (Titus 3:3-6), Wife (Pvb 18:22), Gifts
(James 1:17), Sanctification (Phil 1:5-6), Freedom in Christ (Gal 5:1), Believers (Eph 1:16).

S – Supplication
Philippians 4:6 – Do not be anxious about anything but in every situation by prayer and petition with
thanksgiving present your requests to God.
Action - Pray for guidance and wisdom with family, finances, work, discipleship. Spiritual growth (Phil
1:9-11), Titus 1:8-9 man, desires (1 Kings 8:58). Write down requests and see how God answers.

B – Bible
Psalm 1:1-3 – Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that
sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but who delights in the law of the Lord and who
meditates on his law day and night, that person is like a tree planted by streams of water which yields
its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever they do prospers.
Action - Use tools while reading: Write a paraphrase, write an observation, interpretation, and
applications, consider memorized cross references, pray it back, See-Savor-Serve. Memory Work.

O – Other Believers
Ephesians 6:18 – And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this
in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lords people.
Action – Family, Community, Ministries, Church, City, Neighbors, Country, Global. Paul’s prayers

L – Lost
Ezekiel 36:26-27 – I will give you a new heart and put a new Spirit in you. I will remove from you, your
heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh, and I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my
decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
Action - Top 10 Prayer List, people you shared with, want to share with, co-workers, family, friends,
etc. Eyes to see, Ears to hear, Heart sensitive to the Gospel message. Salvation (Romans 10:1).

D – Discuss
James 1:5-6 – If any of you lacks wisdom; you should ask God who gives generously to all without
finding fault. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a
wave of the sea blown and tossed by the wind.
Action - Ask God ‘what will you have me do?’. Reflect. Applications. Accountability. Gal 5:22-23.
