1.0 Purpose
This work instruction describes the EDIMAT Shipment Process from EDIMAT Application to MFGPRO
Application.

2.0 Scope

This work instruction applies to MFG/PRO application specifically for L2 Support team.

3.0 Responsibility
The Support group responsible for handling issues on shipment issue which are shippers receiving
from EDIMAT Application

4.0 Process

Definition:

EDIMAT stands for Electronic Data Interface for Material Tracking

 It’s a “Plug-in” for MFG/PRO system that interacts in the most common production inventory
transactions

 It’s a shop floor control and tracking system based on barcode technology

5.0 Shipper creation process in MFGPRO.

 NRM Setup for EDIMAT Shipment create in 36.2.21.1 screen.

Shipper CIM file will load from EDIMAT interface to MFGPRO through EI Interface and EDIMAT batch job
will execute to process Shipper CIM file from either 7.9.16.4 *EDIMAT shipper creation menu or 7.9.22 *
Shipper Gateway Menu. Once batch job executed, shipper will create in 7.9.2 Pre-Shipper/Shipper
Workbench screen.

Note: EDIMAT shipment cim file loading process menu for shipper creation will be using either
7.9.16.4 or 7.9.22 menu, it depends on connection between Ship from and ship to Plants.

6.0 Pre requisites

Plant while creating consignment shippers, should be allocate the inventory from consigned
locations to avoid mixed inventory
