Description: This project aims to conserve 143,928.09 ha of high Andean forest (Yungas and Jalca formations) in Huayabamba basin, San Martin,
principally conformed by Weinmannia spp., Polylepis spp, and Escalonia spp. The project hopes to reduce the rate of deforestation caused by tra-
ditional farming practices, extensive grazing and new roads projects near the concession area through strategic activities in the affected areas. The
