What is this initiative? 

 
“Coursera for campus” is a program where students can enrol to get access to over 3,800 
courses with free certification from leading universities and companies. The courses range 
from data science to arts and humanities. This is an attempt by Coursera to help students 
during the current pandemic. 
 
Courses Offered under this initiative 
 
More than 3800 courses under various domains are offered under this initiative. 
Some of the domains offered: 
1. Data science 
2. Computer Science 
3. Business 
4. Technology 
5. Health Care 
6. IT and Cloud Computing 
7. Arts and Humanities 
8. Physical Science  
9. Professional Development 
10.Engineering 
 
How can you access this initiative? 
 
It is quick and easy for any student in NITT to enrol in this program. Follow the steps given 
below. 
 
Steps for Registration​: 
 
1. Before filling the google registration form, 
● If you are already a member of Coursera, change registered email id in 
Coursera to webmail id (Settings --> Profile).  
● If you are not a member then create an account in Coursera using webmail 
id.  
2. Now, submit your webmail id and other details in the google registration form. 
(Given at the end of instructions)  
3. An invite link will be sent to your registered webmail ID shortly. Use the link and your 
Coursera credentials to log in and you will be directly taken to the course page 
where you can explore all the courses using the explore tab and enrol in any course 
listed for free.  
 

 
4. Remember your passwords after account creation. 
5. Only students currently studying in NITT may apply. 
6. Once you have registered in this, your account will be continuously monitored by 
administrators. R
​ eminders and warnings​ will be sent if the account is inactive and 
that the account will be d
​ eactivated​ if there's been no activity after the warning.

FAQs:  
1) Can we enrol into multiple courses? 

Ans: You can enrol into any number of courses that are offered free of cost. 

2) What if I forgot my Coursera credentials? 

Ans: You can always retrieve your password by using your forgot password option. 

3) Where will I receive reminders and warnings? 

Ans: Reminders and warnings will be sent to your webmail. So, keep checking your 
webmail frequently to not miss any reminders and warnings. 

 
 
 
 
PLEASE NOTE THAT AS PER THE COURSERA GUIDELINES FOR THIS SCHEME, STUDENTS FROM THE 
CAMPUS CAN REGISTER/ENROL THEMSELVES INTO COURSES ​TILL JULY 31ST​ AND CAN CONTINUE 
THE REGISTERED COURSES ​TILL SEPTEMBER 30TH​. COURSERA MAY PROVIDE MONTH TO MONTH 
EXTENSIONS DEPENDING ON THE PREVAILING RISK ASSESSMENTS. 
WE REQUEST ALL THE STUDENTS TO USE THIS INITIATIVE TO THE FULLEST. INCASE YOU FACE
