AMENDMENT OF ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS, POSTAL AND

BROADCASTING DIRECTIONS ISSUED UNDER REGULATION 10(8) OF THE
REGULATIONS MADE UNDER THE DISASTER MANAGEMENT ACT, 2002 (ACT
NO. 57 of 2002)

I, Jackson Mthembu, Acting Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies,

hereby, under regulation 4(10) of the Regulations made under section 27(2) of the
Disaster Management Act, 2002 (Act No. 57 of 2002), and published in Government
Notice No. R480, Government Gazette No. 43258 of 29 April 2020, amend the
Electronic Communications, Postal and Broadcasting Directions published in
Government Gazette No. 43164, Government Notice No. 417 of 26 March 2020, as
amended by the Electronic Communications, Postal and Broadcasting Amendment
Directions published in Government Gazette No.43209, Government Notice No. 451
of 6 April 2020, as indicated in the Schedule.

SCHEDULE

DEFINITION
1. In this Schedule "the Directions" means the Electronic Communications, Postal
and Broadcasting Directions published in Government Gazette No.43164,
Government Notice No. 417 of 26 March 2020, as amended by Government Notice
No. 451 of 6 April 2020.

AMENDMENT OF PARAGRAPH 2 OF DIRECTIONS

2. Paragraph 2 of the Directions is hereby amended by the deletion of

subparagraph 2.4.

AMENDMENT OF PARAGRAPH 8 OF DIRECTIONS

3. Paragraph 8 of the Directions is hereby amended by the deletion of

subparagraph 8.1.

DELETION OF PARAGRAPH 12 OF DIRECTIONS

4. Paragraph 12 of the Directions is hereby deleted.

COMMENCEMENT

5. These Directions come into operation on the date of publication in the

Government Gazette.
