Course Description Course on Data analysis will familiarise the students on basic understanding of
business data analysis tools and techniques. The plat form provides inputs on the
application of statistics in workplace. The forum broadly covers concepts on
descriptive statistics, Hypothesis testing, simple linear regression, forecasting
techniques and equip them on how to apply such techniques through spread
sheet, interpret and make recommendations for business decision.

Objectives  Present and describe the basic concepts in business statistics


 Application of appropriate statistical techniques and hypothesis testing to
functional   areas in management.
 Aid in  decision making through data analysis
