Final Drive and Tandems
Final Drive with Differential and Lock
Up.
Power is transmitted from the engine and
transmission to the final drive Pinion & Crown
wheel.
The differential and differential lock are
switched hydraulically by the contact between
plate and disc

Differential Lock Switch


On to engage the differential lock.
If Differential Lock is switch ON during
high speed travel (F6 ~ F8) the controller
will automatically cancel the differential
lock

Differential Lock Pump SBR (1) 10
Supplies oil to the differential lock piston when
solenoid energised.
Discharge amount at 2300 rpm 20 Liters/min.

Final Drive with Diff lock.


The solenoid valve controls the oil follow to the Differential Lock, an
adjustable relief valve is installed onto this valve.

Tandem Drives
The power from the final drives are transmitted to the front and rear
sprockets by chain.
The tandem case can swing up to 12 degrees up and 13 degrees
down.

Tandem Geometry
When both LH & RH wheels ride over an
object (height: H) at the same time the
centre of the rear axle rises H/2.
Because the blade is mounted halfway
between front and rear axles its movement
further becomes H/4.

When only one side rides over an object


the blade movement is H/8.
