Introduction

This version (V200R002) is developed based on V200R001. It can support SVD (Simultaneous Voice and Data), CDMA1X EV-DO, BCMCS, and interQoS.
The software of this version can also be used in BTS3612.

The Huawei CDMA2000 1X system consists of the following network elements (NEs): MS, Cbss, cNSS, and M2000.
The BTS transmits and receives radio signals to realize communication between the radio system and MSs. Huawei provides serial BTS products.

The indoor BTS3606 supports both CDMA2000 1X and CDMA2000 1xEV-DO standards. The maximum capacity of a single BTS3606 cabinet is six sector
carriers. By using multi-channel modules, a single BTS3606 cabinet has a maximum capacity of 18 sector carriers.

The BTS3606 cabinet complies with IEC297 specifications.

• Adopts resource pool design to improve hardware resources utilization and system's error tolerance capability.

• Adopts digital intermediate frequency (IF) technology to improve system availability.

• Adopt intelligent fan control to increase the service life of fans and reduce noise.

• Supports anti-interference through in-band adaptive wave filtering (applicable to single-channel modules).

• Supports 450 MHz, 800 MHz, and 1900 MHz bands.

• Supports cascading with the ODU3601C to flexibly extend the coverage of radio network.

• Supports forward and reverse load control and access channel load control to ensure the system's capacity and service quality.

• Supports various service negotiations, including active, passive and non-negotiations.

• Supports push to talk (PTT) functions.

• Supports power combination in the single-channel mode.

• Supports the combination of cabinets using optical fibers.

• Supports mixed insertion of different-band carriers in the same cabinet.

• Supports IP transmission over the Abis interface.

• Supports microwave transmission.

Capacity Specifications

The maximum capacity of one BTS3606 cabinet is 6 sector carriers. Equipped with multi-channel modules, the BTS3606 can provide 18 sector carriers.

The BTS3606 supports two types of channel processing boards: CCPM and CECM. The former supports CDMA2000 1X protocols, and the latter supports
CDMA2000 1xEV-DO protocols.
