Dear Colleagues,

Hereby we would like to advise you on the augmented onboard announcements and
updated dry-store serving standards procedure.

Background

As we want to be the greenest choice for air travel we are committed to continuously work
on ways to minimize the environmental footprint. Our strategy is built on low fares and a
diverse network, supported by efficient and sustainable operations and high-quality inflight
customer experience.

Delivering great customer service during catering service should not compromise the
environment. Therefore, it is our responsibility as a team to deliver environmentally
conscious service by limiting the plastic and paper dry-store usage, limiting the amount of
waste, and promoting the initiative to the millions of customers flying with us.

Consequently, the onboard initiatives will revolve around mindful use of dry-store and
around public announcements:

Dry-store

The updated procedure regarding usage and distribution of dry-store items is to be found
in CASM 6 Serving Standards – new regulations should be followed at all times.

Announcements

Additional Wizz Café announcement asking customers to signal the need of additional dry-
store items is to be performed just before the commencement of catering service.

“Good-bye announcement” has been augmented with Wizz Air’s sustainability commitment
to promote the eco-focus among our customers.

Serving standards

At Wizz Air we have adopted the buy-on-board model and are pleased to offer our
customers a service where they can choose when and what they want to have. With good
knowledge of a product and by following serving standards Crew is able to provide
professional service and upsell our selection to the customers.

Offering great customer care during catering service should not compromise the
environment. All Cabin Crew is expected to deliver environmentally conscious service by
limiting the plastic and paper dry-store usage and consequently limiting the amount of
waste.

Therefore, the general rule to be followed is to ask customer upfront what their dry-store
needs are, if any. Do not give out dry-store items by default.

Additionally, the pre-service announcement has been introduced to support you while
delivering the sustainable service.

Serving standards were created to reflect the environmental consciousness while providing
high level of catering service.

The below listed standards apply also to Crew using dry-store for their personal needs. We
encourage you to reuse the dry-store items and bring your own reusable plastic cups on
board with you.

Dry-store usage

On how to offer the high level of satisfaction during catering service.

• Offering plastic dry-store items and any other dry-store items should be minimized
as much as possible.
• Provide napkins minding a reasonable rule of one napkin per guest, unless a
situation requires different amount.
• The one napkin per customer includes the one that is added for serving of a stirrer,
sugar, milk, lemon, etc.
• Hot drinks should be served in a single cup, there is no need to use two cups.
• While serving any cold drink do not offer a cup unless customer asks for it.
• When holding a cup it should be assured not to touch it where customer will put
their lips and drink from, as it is not hygienic.
• Close a cup lid with a use of a napkin – have one ‘service napkin’ at hand.
• Only when cup lids are not available, the cup should be covered with 3-4 napkins
for safety reasons.
• Customers should be asked if they need anything served with their drink - sugar,
milk, lemon juice, salt and pepper should be offered upon request only, not as a
standard.
• Whenever a customer requests additional dry store items those should be served
directly from the cup in which one stores all the additional servings.
• Serving set (stirrer, milk, sugar, lemon) should not be served in a plastic cup.
• Avoid putting any dry store or catering items into cups on your dry store drawer.
