This is an excellent instrument in original condition; with
only the slightest of playing wear and no cracks or repairs. It
is very easy to play, with a comfortable neck that is not too
massive like some of the Fletas from this period and earlier.
The sound is very clear and penetrating with great
separation. From our point of view, this guitar is a precursor
to the loudest modern guitars from Australia, sacrificing little
sweetness to achieve such great concert projection. A true
performance instrument for the artist or a great showpiece for
the collector.

This instrument has all the qualities of an exceptional guitar:
a sweet and lyrical tone with clean separation between notes.
The volume is excellent and yet it’s almost “noiseless.” String
noise and nail noise are absorbed and not amplified, allowing
the notes themselves to sound unhindered. The details on this
guitar are stunning, particularly in the bridge, headstock, and
heel, which all feature elaborate inlays. Julian Bream is the
best known champion of these guitars and has performed on
them almost exclusively for much of his career.

sound is silky and beautiful. It plays easily and has a lot
of punch allowing it to carry very well in a large room.
The fundamental tones are very clear and well
separated. Basses are strong without being boomy and
are characteristic of Hauser the trebles sing like a A
