LEAVING CELL PHONES AT HOME WHILE TRAVELING.

These days, in the modern world, the cell phone becomes increasingly useful and necessary for people
thanks to the development of technology. But are cell phones that essential? It is believed that leaving
cell phones at home while being on holidays will make the vacations more comfortable because they
will not distract people from relaxing. However, there some other ideas which point out that vacations
without cell phones are completely boring. In my opinion, leaving cell phones at home do bring
travellers more comfort.

As a matter of fact, the convenience of cell phones can’t be denied. First, bringing cell phones while
traveling will help people save their memorable memmories with the camera attached on the cell
phone. Moreover, with cell phones on the trips, people can easily communicate with other people. For
example, travelers will need to make some calls to book their rooms in advance or to contact with their
partners during their tour. Finally, a cell phone is also a good means to kill people’s free time. For
instance, playing games or listening to music on cell phones will be one of the best ways to entertain
when passengers don’t have anythings to do while waiting for buses or airplanes.

However, getting rid of cell phones while traveling does benefit people with a variety of advantages.
Firstly, people will have more time to talk and get to know one another. For example, the passengers
who are on the same coach will have some chances to make friends with the others instead of staring at
their phones and being isolated. Secondly, being far from cell phones helps people strengthen their
social skills. When they can’t access the Internet through their phones, they will have to communicate
with the local people or other travelers if they get lost or need some help, which will develop their
communicating skills. In addition, tourists will feel more comfortable without cell phones. If they bring
personal belonging or property like laptops or cell phones with them, they will have to pay attention to
it in case of losing it. In contrast, if they don’t bring their phone with them, they won’t have to be
worried about it. Therefore, they will feel more relaxing while enjoying their trip. Last but not least,
people won’t be disturbed while traveling by the calls of their work so they will have more time being
with their beloved.

The mobile phone is very convenient and useful for people in modern life, but they seem to spend too
much time on it. Therefore, on a travel trip, they should leave their phone at home so that they can
spend time with their friends and family and enjoy many interesting activities without being disturbed
by their work and they also get more chances to socialize with ease.
