C1: Work Plan

C1: Outline a plan, which considers the use of resources and time, sufficient for peers to be able to follow to create the solution.

1. Describe​ all steps needed to create your product. In this step plan:
● List​ all tools you will need for each step.
● List​ all materials you will need for each step (where appropriate).
● Record​ the estimated time it should take to complete each step. (1 period = 40 mins of work time)
● Outline​ safety precautions for each step (where appropriate).
● Outline/describe​ what each step entails (bullet point sequence of smaller ‘sub-steps’).
● Present​ photographs and/or screenshots that illustrate the production process of your product (if found)
2. Summarize​ the materials and tools of the project in the following:
● Cutting List
● Tools List
3. Extension: Present​ photographs of your pattern & prototype (if complete)

Overview of Project​ (a brief description of what are you going to make)
I am going to be making a face mask out of my old clothes. My old clothes is a simple white color so I will be adding embroidery
and more colors so it looks nice.

1 Sewing pattern - Pencil 40m - Get all the tools


- Ruler - On a table, lay the paper and start drawing the parts I

- Lable each piece with a simple definition.

When you are finished tracing, remove the pins.
- Use the scissors to cut on the lines

- Once your done, label the parts lightly so that you don’t
get confused.

3 Prepare the trim - Trim 05m - Fold the trim into half and make sure the backside is
facing the inside of the fold

4 Embroidery - Needle 60m - First, draw the design in a pencil or chalk lightly.
- Colored - On top of the draft, start sewing the design with different
threads colors.

8 Finish 05m - Put the pins away and then it is finished.
