Instructions for Uploading the latest Universal DTCO®

(Rel.2.0 and 2.1) Parameter Sets to the CTC II

The attached zip file (Uni_CTCII_Rev_2.10-2.11-2.12_for_2.0-2.1_E.zip) contains all the
LATEST currently known Rel.2.0 and Rel.2.1 parameter sets:

a) Please be aware that the parameter files are compatible with the DTCO® 2.1 ‘active’
UNIVERSAL devices!
b) This attached Zip-file can be used with the CTCII software 2.10, 2.11 or 2.12.
c) Also it contains nearly all known 2.0, 2.0a, 2.U1 and 2.1 brands, i.e. Mercedes
ACTROS, DAF XF/CF/LF, MAN TGX, IVECO STRALIS, ...
d) Please note that unfortunately it was necessary to leave out the Rel. 1.4 parameter
files to have logical space for the DTCO 2.1 parameter files.
e) Please use the latest CONTRAM software <contram_01.03.exe> when uploading the
latest OEM parameter set to your CTC II

Please ensure that you upload these latest OEM parameter sets to your CTC II.

Please Note: A precondition is that your CTC II has been updated to software version 2.10
(or later) and the Licence for the universal DTCO® has been uploaded.

Step 1 – Copy the files to your PC

Copy the files to your PC hard drive

Step 2 – Printout documents

Print out the following documents:

a) Uploading OEM Parameter Sets to CTC II 071013.pdf

b) Uploading OEM Parameter Sets to DTCO® 2.0 or 2.1 071013.pdf

Step 3 – Upload OEM Parameter Sets for DTCO® Rel. 2.0 and 2.1 to
CTC II
Upload OEM parameter sets for DTCO® Rel.2.1 and 2.1 to your CTC II using the following
document: ‘Uploading List of OEM Variant Parameter Sets for DTCO Rel.2.0a and 2.1 to
CTC II (Release 4)’

Connect the CTC II to your PC using a RS232 Cable from the DTCO Rel.2.0a Universal
Parameter Update Kit (A2C59515100) – See Service Information Note 45

If your PC does not have a serial port then you will need to use the Digitus ‘USB to Serial
Convertor’ and ensure that the appropriate drivers are loaded for your PC operating system.

Universal DTCO®

Upload OEM parameter set for DTCO Rel.2.0 or 2.1 to a universal DTCO using the following
document: ‘DTCO 1381 Universal Device Rel.2.0a / 2.1, Procedure for uploading OEM
Parameter Sets (Release 4) to Universal DTCO® 1381 Rel.2.0a 2.1 Devices’

Please Note: A precondition is that the list of OEM variant parameters has been uploaded
into the CTCII (see ‘Uploading OEM parameters sets to CTC II 071013.pdf’)
